I busted my boyfriend for cheating — when he lasted too long in bed
By Ben Cost
September 2, 2022 4:34pm Updated

A jilted woman is going viral after revealing how she figured out that her boyfriend was cheating — when he unexpectedly got better in bed.

The sexy sleuth elaborated on her discovery in a recent TikTok repost detailing his suspicious longevity in the sack. The original clip reportedly amassed more than 700,000 views before her account was suspended for unrelated reasons, according to Jam Press.

“He lasted longer than usual in bed,” 22-year-old Pernille Torhov, from Norway, said of the tantalizing tell, which she noticed during a lovemaking session just after her beau had returned from a trip. She claimed they had been dating for four months when he told her he was going on a jaunt to a cabin with his pals.

Alarm bells went off after the couple made whoopie upon his return and Torhov noticed a change in his boudoir performance.

Specifically, her boyfriend took his time in the sack, which Torhov deemed odd as “it had been a week since we last saw each other.”
His sexual longevity led her to believe that something was awry.

"He lasted longer than usual in bed,” said Pernille Torhov, 22 describing the unlikely tell.

“I was thinking to myself that it was a bit strange, but didn’t say anything to him,” said the suspicious Norwegian, who decided to turn a “blind eye” to her beau’s behavior because she was “so in love with this man.”

Torhov tried to convince herself that she was “overthinking” things, but her initial suspicions were confirmed after the cheater came clean via a Snapchat message.

“I feel pretty bad and I’m disappointed in myself because there’s something I haven’t told you,” the alleged digital confession read. “One of the boys invited two girls on our cabin trip, and I ended up sleeping with one of them.”
She had reportedly been dating the philanderer for four months when he decided to go on a jaunt within this country with his pals.

After a long period of suspicion, the cheater finally came came clean about his misdeed in a SnapChat message.

The remorseful man went on to claim that he had no “desire to do anything” with those women, but things took a turn after one of the gals “had to sleep over because they couldn’t get home” — and there were only two beds, he claimed.

“She slept in my room, and it went as it did, but that’s no excuse anyway, I thought it was stupid of me,” the bozo insisted.

He also pointed out that while he and Torhov had not previously established an “exclusive” relationship, his conscience weighed heavy after the time they’d spent together — insisting that he is “quite disappointed” with himself. “This is really not the person I want to be.”

Torhov was devastated by the admission.

“When I read the message I was kind of shocked and obviously very sad,” said the crestfallen gal. “He came home to me and had sex with me straight after he had sex with the girl on the cabin trip,” she lamented.

Despite her beau’s romantic infraction, Torhov decided against dumping the bozo.

She was furthermore disappointed with his delivery — via social media app. Insisting they break up “face-to-face,” the star-crossed lovers would rekindle their romance in the end.

“I decided to give him a second chance and he’s turned out to be a very sweet and nice boy,” Torhov said.

‘I Swear I’ll Turn This Plane Around’ — Pilot Scolds Passengers Sharing Unwanted D*** Pics
August 31, 2022*

• t’s pretty sad when adults need to be treated like literal children.

When you were on a family road trip as a kid, did one of your parents ever threaten to turn back and go home if you didn’t behave? If they did, you hopefully learned your lesson.

But some people clearly didn’t. Recently, a Southwest Airlines pilot had to pull the same trick on his passengers.

The difference is that the misbehaving people were (supposedly) adults in this case. And they weren’t just arguing about nothing.

They were sharing unsolicited nudes over the internet.

But maybe the most surprising thing is that the threat worked. As far as we could find out, the plane took off and arrived at its destination.

Image
“Folks, this is your pilot speaking, don’t make me come back there.”

Like Herding Children

The strange incident came to light on August 25 when Teighlor Marsalis shared a video about it on TikTok. In the video, Marsalis is on a plane headed for Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

According to media reports, a passenger on the plane received an unsolicited nude picture through AirDrop. In case you need a refresher, AirDrop is Apple’s proprietary system for quickly sharing files and images between Macintosh computers, iPhones, and iPads.

The person who received the unwanted d*** pic (we’re assuming that’s what it was) made a complaint about the incident to a flight attendant. They weren’t probably the only victim of the cyber flashing incident — Marsalis told Insider that she, too, received an unknown AirDrop request but denied it.

Soon after, the pilot told the passengers to behave over the intercom.

“So, here’s the deal,” he can be heard saying on Marsalis’ video. “If this continues while we’re on the ground, I’m going to have to pull back to the gate.”

“Everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to get security involved, and the vacation is going to be ruined. Whatever that AirDrop thing is, quit sending naked pictures. Let’s get yourselves to Cabo,” the pilot said.

He really does sound like a parent scolding a bunch of kids that are acting up. Which is actually pretty sad, when you think about it.

Support for the Pilot

You can make up your own mind about whether or not the pilot handled the situation professionally. But his employer does have his back.

“The safety, security, and wellbeing of customers and employees is the Southwest Team’s highest priority at all times,” Southwest Airlines said in a statement sent to multiple media outlets.

“When made aware of a potential problem, our employees address issues to support the comfort of those traveling with us,” the airline added.

Granted, they didn’t directly praise the pilot. But considering they didn’t denounce his actions either, we’re taking that as a silent approval.

Marsalis, on the other hand, told Insider that she was happy with the pilot’s dad energy. She thinks the pilot handled the situation “perfectly.”

We didn’t find any reports of further incidents on the flight, so here’s hoping the passengers got to Mexico without being exposed to more naked human bodies.

‘Keep Your Pic in Your Pants’

Weird as the whole thing is, people exposing themselves over the internet is far from a new issue. There’s an unfortunate reason why “unsolicited d*** pics” is a common phrase on the web.

According to a 2017 study, 53% of women aged 18-29 have received unwanted, sexually explicit pictures on the internet. With men, the number stood at 37% — not as common but it still happens.

That data is five years old by now, but unfortunately, it seems that things aren’t getting better. A follow-up study from 2021 found that the overall prevalence of cyber flashing has stayed the same.

However, the severity of the incidents is increasing. The pictures are getting increasingly explicit and the harassers’ behavior more obscene.

As a result, states all over the U.S. have begun to crack down on the behavior. New York City, for example, for example, is planning to enact a law that would criminalize unsolicited d*** pics.

“In the old days, you had to have a long trench coat and good running shoes. Technology has made it significantly easier to be a creep. Keep your pic in your pants,” NYC Councilman Joseph Borelli told Gizmodo.

Texas, too, has had enough of the nudes. In 2019, the state teamed up with Bumble to criminalize unwanted nudes. California is also trying to push through similar legislation.

But since when have weirdoes cared about the law?

Getting Plants ‘Drunk’ Insulates them Against Drought, According to New Research

Image

Main crop plants thrived when their soil was soaked in ethanol alcohols even after two weeks without water, report scientists.

Climate change may be affecting production of corn and wheat by 2030, and scientists believe the solution is learn more about plants’ biology to find inbuilt resiliencies.

Genetically modifying plants so that their stomata—the pores in their leaves—stay closed, has been somewhat effective because it prevents water from leaving the plants. Other experiments have looked at making plants produce larger root systems.

But making them is expensive and time consuming. Countries with the greatest need might not have equal access to these modified crops if droughts continue at their current severity.

Plants produce ethanol when deprived of water, so a team from the RIKEN Centre for Sustainable Resource Science in Japan reasoned it would protect them from future drought.

“We find treating common crops such as wheat and rice with exogenous ethanol can increase production during drought,” said lead study author Dr. Motoaki Seki. “This offers us a cheap and easy way to increase crop yield even when water is limited, without the need for genetic modification.”

Ethanol is neat alcohol. A small amount of the chemical is the same as a large number of normal alcoholic beverages.

In people, immediate effects include nausea, vomiting and intoxication. In large quantities, it can cause almost immediate loss of consciousness.

Compared to water, wheat and rice could only survive a fortnight of drought conditions when they did a bit of pre-game with 3% ethanol.

And it wasn’t even close. 75% of ethanol-treated wheat and rice plants survived after they were re-watered at the end of the fortnite, compared to less than 5% of the untreated plants.

The researchers analyzed gene expression in the plants before and during water deprivation and radio-tagged the ethanol before pretreatment.

This allowed them to see what processes were activated during drought and what happened to the ethanol after it was taken up by the plant roots.

Even before water was deprived, the ethanol-treated plants began to express genes that are normally expressed during water deprivation.

Additionally, around the same time that water content was dropping in untreated leaves, the ethanol-treated plants were making sugars from the ethanol and doing photosynthesis.

“First, drought-related genes are expressed even before water is missing, giving the plants a head start in preparation,” explained Dr. Seki.

“Then, the stomata close, allowing leaves to retain more water. At the same time, some of the ethanol is used to make a variety of sugars, which provide much needed energy that is normally difficult to get with closed stomata.”

“As ethanol is safe, cheap, and widely available, this finding offers a practical way to increase food production all over the world when water is scarce, without the need for costly, time-consuming, and sometimes controversial production of genetically modified plants.”

Why are Indian men screaming with period pain?

Menstruation - and the discomforts that come with it - is still a taboo topic in many parts of India.

But a campaign in the southern state of Kerala is aiming to change that. The initiative's organisers are taking menstruation simulators to malls and colleges in Ernakulam district to let men experience period cramps, in a bid to normalise conversation around the subject.

A recent video from the campaign showed men wincing and screaming in pain as women watched on, amused.

"That was really painful. I never want to experience that ever again," says Sharan Nair, a social media influencer who tried the simulator at a mall.

Image

The simulator is part of a project called Cup of Life that aims to distribute free menstrual cups and bust myths around periods. It has been launched by local lawmaker Hibi Eden from the Congress party along with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), which represents doctors.

Women's health, especially issues related to menstruation, is an under-discussed topic in India. In many areas, women are still considered impure when they menstruate, and kept away from social and religious events, and even the kitchen.

While this attitude has changed a little in urban areas, most women still don't feel comfortable discussing their period or the intense cramps that often accompany it with their employers or even male family members. While some companies around the world and in India have begun offering period leave, it is often a polarising topic.

Image

But the campaign's organisers are hopeful they can spark a change in Kerala, considered one of India's most progressive states.

Lawyer Sandra Sunny, who designed the #feelthepain event, says the simulator is the "easiest way" to encourage meaningful conversations and change such attitudes.

"If you ask college boys directly what they know about period cramps, they'd be reluctant to talk. But if you ask them questions like - 'have they talked about periods with anyone, what makes them reluctant to talk about it' - after using the simulator, they are more forthcoming," she says.

Image

The simulator has two wires that can be attached to two people at the same time and a dial that can turn up the pain level from one to 10.

Mr Nair remembers that the girls who tried it "felt nothing" while "the guys, including me, were hollering and bringing the place down".

The organisers say that the simulator sparked frank discussions at colleges in Ernakulam district.

A couple of male students who tried the simulator out at a private college said they could barely stand the pain. "They reacted immediately, saying, 'switch it off!'," Zeenath KS, one of the student organisers, told the BBC.

That is a pretty common reaction, says Dr Akhil Manuel, joint secretary of the local chapter of the IMA and coordinator of the Cup of Life campaign.

"Women don't even flinch at [level] nine while the men find it hard to make it past four, even though the simulator only transmits 10% of the actual pain," he says.

Ms Sunny says that the simulator helps men understand just how debilitating it is to experience such severe pain for years: "For them it's a machine so they can pause it. But we can't."

This isn't the first time period pain simulators have made Indian men scream. Last year, two non-profit organisations used it at a period-themed carnival in northern India. Since then, they have been used at workshops to familiarise people, particularly men, with menstruation.

"The simulator was simply a hook to break the ice and help people get into the conversation," says Dr Manuel.

A sticky situation: whipped cream confusion cleared by NY senator

Image

Queens state Sen. Joseph Addabbo Jr. doesn't have much of a sweet tooth these days.

“I used to like whipped cream,” the exasperated lawmaker told Gothamist. “I used to like it a lot. I really did. But now, I don’t know.”

Addabbo’s been spending a lot of time talking about whipped cream lately — more time than he'd like. It all started last month, when a bill he sponsored into law last year suddenly found its way into the news.

You may have seen the headlines on your social media feeds:

“Why you now need to be 21 to buy canned whipped cream in New York”
“Want to buy canned whipped cream in New York state? Don’t forget your ID”
“Really? You need to be 21+ to buy whipped cream?”

That was all news to Addabbo, the veteran lawmaker who led the push last year to ban the sale of whipped cream chargers to those under the age of 21 — not the pre-filled cans of whipped cream you find in the grocery store.

Whipped cream chargers are small, bullet-shaped cartridges filled with nitrous oxide. They’re used by professional bakers and cooks in reusable whipped cream dispensers.

After hearing a complaint from a constituent, Addabbo found they were being sold by the dozens at corner stores in Ozone Park — often in neon-colored packaging that he said was clearly being marketed to kids looking to get high on whippets.

That’s why he was more than a little confused when he got a call from a reporter three weeks ago asking him about the new law that had actually taken effect late last year.

"I get a call from a Buffalo reporter about banning the sale of canisters,” Addabbo said. “I said 'no, chargers.' And she said, 'canisters.' And I say 'no, cartridges.' And I'm like, 'why does she keep saying canister?'"

Addabbo soon found out why. Signs started popping up in grocery stores and corner stores, warning customers that they had to be 21 — and show ID — to purchase a can of whipped cream.

That's where things got a little sticky.

The law specifically applies only to “whipped cream chargers,” which it defines as a “steel cylinder or cartridge filled with nitrous oxide that is used as a whipping agent in a whipped cream dispenser.”

But a basic can of whipped cream — think the kind you would top a sundae with — does come preloaded with a nitrous oxide charge inside the tube. So when Kent Sopris, president of the New York Association of Convenience Stores, caught wind of the law in June after starting in his job, he advised store owners to be cautious.

"I looked into it,” Sopris said. “I saw that there was a law. I told my members immediately, as I interpreted it, you should start IDing."

Last month, the news went viral, with images of must-be-21-to-purchase signs popping up on whipped cream shelves across the state and finding their way onto local newscasts.

So Addabbo went to work, putting out not one but two press releases last week trying to rein the story back in. He said he checked in with the state Attorney General’s Office, which agreed with his interpretation — that the ban applies only to the small nitrous chargers, not the full cans of pre-filled whipped cream.

"It's very clearly that it's a charger or a cartridge that's being banned,” he said.

Sopris was satisfied with the explanation. On Wednesday, his organization emailed its members, including a copy of one of Addabbo’s press releases.

“You do NOT need to ID a customer in order to sell them a can of whipped cream,” the Association of Convenience Stores wrote, in bold and underlined font.

People in stitches at dog sat chilling in cheetah enclosure at zoo

Image

People have been left dumbfounded by a sleepy pup who was spotted chilling in the African cheetah enclosure at a zoo. A man visited with the hopes of seeing a big cat, but instead saw the golden Labrador taking a nap out in the open.

The viral post was shared by Davidowicza on Reddit, who wrote: "Went to the zoo today and I'm 99 percent sure that's not a cheetah..." It received more than 111,000 upvotes with thousands of people leaving well-placed jokes in the comments section.

"When you lie on your resume, but you are an excellent liar," someone said, and another added: "...or an excellent cheater."

"It's a stand-in. The cheetah's on holiday in Africa," another user joked, while a Redditor said: "Man, its camouflage is crazy good!"

Though many people were quick to recognise the dog at Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, New Jersey, US, and explained the cheetah would actually be in the enclosure with him.

"Cheetahs are very high stress and anxiety animals and are often paired with dogs from a young age for companionship," someone clarified.

Davidowicza said: "It was still funny approaching from a distance and being like 'That's one odd looking chubby cheetah'."

Bowie the Labrador is, in fact, a support animal and surprising best friend to Nandi the cheetah.

The pair have been inseperable for years now - since they were a few weeks old - and often attend events to educate the public on conserving the lives of big cats.

Image

Turtle Back Zoo explain that Nandi has gained the confidence of a dog and "always has Bowie to turn to in new situations".

Wherever Nandi goes Bowie follows, so that she always feels comfortable and reassured.

The sweet feline loves wrestling and cuddling with her canine best bud, and absolutely loves tennis balls and ice toys that she can bat around and chase.

Scientists estimate that there are only 7,100 cheetahs left in the wild as they are frequently killed by farmers and affected by loss of prey from human hunting.

Image

Cheetahs are listed as vulnerable by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and their future currently remains uncertain.

Another zoo recently welcomed a singleton cheetah cub, named Rozi, into its enclosure - and will soon be introducing her to her very own support dog.

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, in America, made the decision to let Rozi live alongside puppy Daisy in an attempt to socialise her.

Cat Ambassador Program (CAP) lead trainer Linda Castañeda said: "Canine companionship provides play and socialisation opportunities that humans cannot give the cub."

Long Island Town Says ‘Sloth King' Is Violating Animal Codes, Wants Business Shut Down

While the owner has said there is nothing wrong with the business, the town calls him a wannabe “Sloth King” (a reference to the Netflix documentary “Tiger King”) and has said ...

Image

A slow-moving battle is playing out on Long Island — over sloths.

The town of Islip wants a business called "Sloth Encounters" in the hamlet of Hauppauge to shut down because they say it's illegal, as the town supervisor said it has issued several summonses to the owner of the business, Larry Wallach.

The town said that the business violates several codes, including the ban on owning or possessing a wild animal.

Wallach has said there is nothing wrong with the business, but the town calls him a wannabe "Sloth King" (a reference to the Netflix documentary "Tiger King") and has said some residents have accused him of mistreating the sloths.

Wallach said he has answered all the citations and done everything he has supposed to do. The owner is expected to appear in court on Sept. 14th over the violations.

Tesla driver appears to be asleep as car goes over 100 km/h on QEW

Image

Lesser said when they pulled up beside the Tesla, she noticed the driver’s seat was reclined and the person behind the wheel had their eyes closed.

She said traffic around them was moving at approximately 105 km/h at the time.

"When I was able to see in, the guy, he opened his eyes for maybe a split second, and then closed his eyes again and was fully asleep," she said. "He was behind a dump truck and all I could think is 'If that truck slams on the brake suddenly, what would happen?'"

Lesser said her partner considered honking their car horn to wake the driver up, but were worried that would startle him and cause an accident.

"I thought it was insane. I've seen traffic, especially on the QEW, it goes from being fully open, you are able to do 100 km/h, to being at a standstill in two seconds,” she said. “To know this guy wasn’t awake, it almost made me not want to be on the highway."

Lesser said the driver was asleep for about another 10 to 15 minutes. She said he opened his eyes and started steering the car again when he got closer to where the highway splits towards Lewiston and Fort Erie.

CTV News Toronto showed the video to Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt. While the video has not been verified by police, he called incident "completely negligent and reckless."

"If this person is truly asleep, I don't know why the person recording the video would take the video rather than call 911,” Schmidt said. “Is this person medical distress? What's going on inside that vehicle? It leaves a little bit of a suspicious thought in my mind as to whether this is actually legitimate or if this is staged? I don't know.”

Lesser told CTV News Toronto she did not call 911 because she couldn't get a clear look at the vehicle’s licence plate.

Schmidt said regardless of whether this video is legitimate, the actions of the driver behind the wheel are illegal.

"No one in their right mind would do this," he said. "This vehicle needs to be stopped and this driver needs to be assessed."

Image

Schmidt said the OPP is not currently investigating the video because no formal complaint has been filed.

"If you're sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle, you are required and obligated to be alert and attentive. Failure to do so could result in careless driving charges and dangerous driving charges. There is no offence called asleep at the wheel, but there's a lot of other offences that would fit that category."

According to Tesla's website, their current Autopilot features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous.

CTV News Toronto reached out to Tesla for comment, but has not heard back.

Self-Driving Car Speeds Away from Cops in San Francisco
September 5, 2022*

• The AI really has learned to act like a real human driver.

They’re really trying to make self-driving cars the next big thing in automobiles. And in some ways, the artificial intelligence driving the cars really does act mistakably like a real human being.

By which we mean that it seems to try to run away from cops.

Police officers in San Francisco recently pulled over a self-driving Chevrolet Bolt, operated by General Motors-owned Cruise. After stopping at first, the AI-driven car quickly bolted (pun slightly intended) away from the cops.

After passing an intersection, however, the vehicle stopped again. But the sudden dash from an unmanned car sure gave the police a jolt.

Image
“Can we arrest an empty car? Over.”

Eat My Dust, Coppers!

A passerby managed to catch the whole incident on video. He later uploaded the video on Instagram for all to see.

The video doesn’t show why the cops pulled the Cruise vehicle over in the first place. According to media reports, the car was driving around at night with its headlights off.

For an AI supposedly optimized to drive cars, that’s a pretty amateurish mistake.

In any case, the Cruise car stopped for the cops. The video shows one of the officers approaching the vehicle and looking fairly confused when he finds no driver in the car.

Bewildered, the cop tries the car’s door before starting to walk back to his patrol car. But as soon as he turns his back, the Cruise car takes off.

The video doesn’t show it, but we can only imagine the officer next to the car got a slight scare.

The driverless car rolls through an intersection at a speed that makes it seem like it’s trying to get away. But once it passes the intersection, it comes to as top and activates its emergency blinkers.

The patrol car follows the Cruise vehicle, and two officers get out this time. As they inspect the car, they seem genuinely puzzled by what’s going on with it.

As they walk around the car, one of the officers appears to be talking on his phone. Then the video fades to black.

Working as Intended

Although it seems like the driverless car was trying to escape from the cops, its operator claims otherwise. According to Cruise, the car did exactly what it was supposed to.

In a tweet, the company explained that the car was simply trying to find a safer spot.

“Our AV yielded to the police vehicle, then pulled over to the nearest safe location for the traffic stop, as intended,” Cruise said.

The company added that the officers didn’t issue any citations for the car.

Alright, so maybe the car was trying to find a safer spot to park. Cruise may want to work on its system still, though — maybe have the car give the cops some kind of a warning that it’s planning to move.

Also, Cruise still didn’t explain why its car’s lights were turned off at night.

The company does have a videoavailable where it instructs first responders on how to interact with its automatic vehicles. According to the instructions, Cruise cars have microphones that will identify sirens and cause the AI to act appropriately.

If there is an issue with the car, Cruise encourages cops to call its “escalation team.” The team can do various tasks on the car remotely to resolve any problems.

Perhaps they could do something like turn on the headlights?

Image

Not Just Cruise

Automatic vehicles are trying their hardest to get on the roads. But as Cruise’s vehicle shows, there are still some kinks to iron out.

But it’s not like Cruise is the only company with some self-driving car issues. Tesla recently made headlines with its automatic braking system that…

Well, it mows down pedestrians.

Fortunately, no actual people got hurt. But some tests surfaced in August that showed Tesla’s Model 3 running over dummies that it should’ve stopped for.

In another instance, a Model 3 plowed through three child-sized dummies. Understandably, the tests resulted in a bit of backlash against Tesla.

Elon Musk, as he’s wont to do, took to Twitter to defend his company’s cars. And he does make a point — the tests don’t exactly make clear which of the Model 3’s safety features they have activated.

But before you buy a Tesla for the self-driving features, ask yourself if you’re willing to take the risk.

Naked sunbather chases wild boar through park after it steals his laptop bag
Image
A naked sunbather was seen chasing wild boar through a park after it stole his laptop bag.
Amusing photographs from Germany show the man running after the animal to try and claim the plastic bag back.
But the cheeky boar and its two piglets appear to be too quick for the sunbather, who can't keep up with their speedy little trotters.
As the incident unfolds, groups of friends and family sat on the grass watch on and laugh.
Heads are seen turning in surprise and amusement in the hilarious photographs.
The incident happened at Teufelssee Lake - a bathing spot in the Grunwell Forest in Berlin, Germany.

Naughty dog who accidentally ordered pay-per-view porn lands man with hefty bill

A fuming man landed with a large pay-per-view porn bill has a bizarre explanation - claiming his dog ordered it when he got hold of the remote.

Thomas Barnes had hit out at a US satellite provider after receiving a demand for $70 for the x-rated films.

Indignant Mr Barnes, 58, told the News Observer in North Carolina that the real culprit is naughty bichon frise Marino.

Bichon frise dog Marino accidentally ordered pay-per-view porn when he got hold of the remote, his owner said

The errant pet is said to have jumped up on his owner's bed and accidentally ordered the Hustler channel.

Realising what happened horrified Mr Barnes said he contacted DirectTV "within minutes", pointing the finger of blame at Marino.

The pet landed Thomas Barnes with a large bill

He was assured that the problem would be sorted, so he was dismayed when he continued to have access to porn.

When his bill came through, he subtracted the cost of Hustler and paid the rest - but as a result had his service cut off.

Disabled Mr Barnes, who relies on Social Security disability payments, said: “That 70 dollars, you’re taking food out of my mouth.

“It’s like you’re stealing it. They refused to see how that was pertinent.”

After filing a Federal Communications Commission complaint, he said, the provider agreed to credit his next bill.

But Mr Barnes said he is being made to pay for the mistake.

DirectTV is yet to comment about the incident.

(Yeah, blame the dog  My favourite line is the unlikely "he was dismayed when he continued to have access to porn.")

Teen gets USB cable stuck in penis while 'trying to measure inside of genitals'

Image

A teenage boy got a USB cable stuck inside his penis leaving doctors needing to surgically remove it.

The 15-year-old boy was reportedly attempting to measure the inside of his genitals with the cable in a bizarre form of "sexual experimentation" before it knotted, making it impossible to remove.

With the cable forming knots and tangles, the youngster began to see blood appearing in his urine, and eventually his mum rushed him to hospital where he confessed he had deliberately inserted the cable - but not before his bewildered mother had left the room, the Mirror reports.

The bizarre incident was documented in a urology case report in November 2021.

Doctors wrote in the Science Direct report: "The two distal ports of the USB wire were found to be protruding from the external urethral meatus whilst the middle part of the knotted wire remained within the urethra.

"The patient was an otherwise fit and healthy adolescent with no history of mental health disorders."

Doctors couldn't remove the cable with a metal rod as too many knots had formed, meaning the boy had to undergo surgery.

Medical professionals made an incision between the boy's genitals and anus to allow them to access the cable and catheters were then fitted.

Doctors explained: "A longitudinal peno-scrotal incision over the palpable foreign body was made and careful dissection was undertaken through deeper tissues, splitting the bulbospongiosus muscle.

“Both ends of the wire were pulled out successfully through the external urethral meatus."

The teen made a swift recovery and was discharged, and his catheters were removed just a fortnight later - but he will be monitored for long-term damage as inserting foreign objects into the urethra can cause pain while urinating, blood in the urine, painful erections and urine retention.

And it's not just this youngster who has inserted bizarre objects into their urethras - the report names several other objects that have led to hospital admissions, including needles, pins, and even pistachio shells.

The urology doctors added: "Sexual experimentation and gratification, as well as underlying mental disorders, are considered the main causes of retained foreign bodies in the urethra and bladder.

“Depending on the mechanism of insertion, and the size and shape of the object, they can cause delayed complications, mainly recurrent urinary tract infections, urethral strictures or false passages and bladder perforation, which may require major reconstructive procedures to restore the anatomy."

OUCH!

Dream job: the Japanese man who gets paid to do nothing

Image

Shoji Morimoto has what some would see as a dream job: he gets paid to do pretty much nothing.

The 38-year-old Tokyo resident charges 10,000 yen ($71) per booking to accompany clients and simply exist as a companion.

"Basically, I rent myself out. My job is to be wherever my clients want me to be and to do nothing in particular," Morimoto told Reuters, adding that he had handled some 4,000 sessions in the past four years.

With a lanky build and average looks, Morimoto now boasts nearly a quarter of a million followers on Twitter, where he finds most of his clients. Roughly a quarter of them are repeat customers, including one who has hired him 270 times.

His job has taken him to a park with a person who wanted to play on a see-saw. He has also beamed and waved through a train window at a complete stranger who wanted a send-off.

Doing nothing doesn't mean Morimoto will do anything. He has turned down offers to move a fridge and go to Cambodia, and doesn't take any requests of a sexual nature.
