After learning of my plight with Missing Pieces, some very nice posters sent me pics of their chess pieces and dominoes tiles, telling me they’d be happy to share their surplus
What is it?
- A contest where you are presented with a grid filled either with chess pieces or dominoes tiles. Your task is to determine how many of these pieces go toward making up a standard game set (that I shall leave to the generous donators) and how many surplus game tokens there are remaining in the grid (that I can use to complete my games).
- Chess sets are composed of 32 pieces: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Rocks and 8 Pawns in both black and white color.
- Dominoes sets are composed of 28 tiles, marked respectively 6-6 (“double six”), 6-5, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, 5-5, 5-4, 5-3, 5-2, 5-1, 5-0, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2, 4-1, 4-0, 3-3, 3-2, 3-1, 3-0, 2-2, 2-1, 2-0, 1-1, 1-0, 0-0.
- For each grid, post the number of surplus tokens beyond those that go towards making up a regular game set.
How do you play?
- Post the letter of the grid and the number of Surplus pieces or tiles.

Rules:
- Only 1 post per person per round, any more and all of your posts will be disallowed.
- No duplicates.
- The first 18 correct answers will be rewarded.
- Where a post has been edited resulting in duplicates, then the last one in time gets disallowed.
- The game ends when all the surplus have been calculated or 48 hours have passed since the beginning of the round.
Reward
- 30 WRZ$ for each correct post.
