A REMINDER...
CANADA VS. USA
The events was a preliminary round match up featuring the Canadian and American Men's Hockey teams. Team Canada was a huge favorite.
So the questions were...
Who will win this game?
USA
Canada drew first blood very early in the game... but USA came back and scored shortly after that to tie it up. They then scored late in the first period to take the lead. Team USA scored again early in the second period, but late in the period, Canada scored to draw with in one with a whole period left.
But USA again scored early in the 3rd, and Canada was not going to come back.
I had a bunch of people over watching the game, and we had a GREAT TIME

sitting around the house and surfing
the internet while posting at Mobi more than I used to.
And while doing so, a lot of "random" things cross my mind.
And one of those random thoughts was,
gee, why don't you base a contest on these random thoughts
Now it is called RANDOM QUICKIE because each contest
will be different/random and the time limit will be short.
It will keep you on your toes
So let's begin today's RANDOM QUICKIE
WOMEN'S HOCKEY SEMIFINALS
CANADA AND USA
Tonight and tomorrow morning (my time), both the Canadian and American women's teams play their semifinal games. This will give you TWO CHANCES TO WIN
Both teams are HUGE favorites in their game, and we hope they both win to give us the final match up many of us want
So, since this would be an easy one if we asked you who would win each of the two games, how about the total number of goals scored in the game.
In the Canada/Switzerland game, the over/under is 8.5
In the USA/Finland game, the over/under is 6.5
So... So two questions this time
Will 9 or more total goals be scored in the Canada/Switzerland game?
Will 7 or more total goals be scored in the USA/Finland game?
