Hey here is a polite question if anyone knows the answer? if i pm a moderator ( name in green) to up an old link and they dont reply a week later when theyve been online is it ok to ask in ebook releases or just leave it if anyone else has it??? Thanks i have read the stickynote already on this subject on the board but wondered what follow up etiquette is

The book was released by the mod ? I don't know if there is any particular etiquette for that . If I were you , I'd just send them another PM asking them if they will be updating it or if I may go ahead and make a book request . If there is no reply for that either , then I'd go ahead . If on the other hand , the mod is indeed planning to update the links , guess they'll reply to the second PM .

Hi thanks both for answering yes it was released by the mod ive sent another pm so hopefully they will reply i dont want to hassle anyone if its not their policy to reupload as it doesnt say one way or the other on their original link

If you do not get a reply within few days you can request a new link from other users by replying to the topic, explaining you received no response from the Original Poster.

i was lucky almost all the pms for re-upload were answered. the ones who couldn't re-upload told me so and gave me the go ahead to ask for a re-upload by somebody else, only one person didn't answer, but it wasn't something i wanted that badly so i decided to wait some more and decide what to do at a later date.

Thanks mobilitic i asked for a few that looked good and was lucky that yes some people were great and uploaded the links, shamefully leading to some sniggering on the morning train over a funny bit much to the annoyance of the staid people aaah well ive now re-pm'd a vip moderator and an an emeritus moderator soooo.. hopefully

i know what you mean, i found some scenes here and there that were so well written and just my kind of humor that i couldn't always help myself from laughing out loud got some funny looks too
