It was just an example. Maybe you have a beast of a computer, maybe I am using a slow laptop, maybe you use a lot of extensions, maybe I use none. Maybe I look at video's all day and maybe you only read ebooks in your browser it all depends. Fact is that most peopel use chrome, chrome handles video better, then again firefox has a lot more versatility. You shouldn't use either Chrome or Firefox you should use both and pick the right one for the right task/situation.
It's also good to have experience with more than one browser anyways,

I kind of dislike Chrome because Google made it, and everyone knows Google is evil and tracks you via Chrome when you use it to browse (and possibly uses the info to sell to companies who are interested in that data)
But as a browser it is fine.
