Here's a good morning albino koala for matina and Alessa to start the eastern hemisphere day!



Greetings to br bear (hope you can have a nice rest now), Belle and Booktopia too. Also Ice, if you're around.

matina, my expected visitors from Queanbeyan cancelled out, so I have a quiet day 'planned.' Am being watched through the window by at least four cockatoos and one beady-eyed currawong, so I'd better feed them before they start on my new chimney insulation!

br bear . . . yes, cockies now successfully fed . . . cost me $360 to get my chimney repaired last month! I actually thought that was a toy koala at first but, no, it's the real thing! I'll have to ask my son if he's ever seen an albino koala in the wild up in Queensland . . .

matina, great wolf and bear photos! That bear is very, very safe now . . .

Yep. Dingo puppies, dreamer . . . born in captivity at the famous Australia Zoo, created by Steve Irwin's father. My son worked here when he was a student at the nearby University of the Sunshine Coast. The centre is now an environmental protection centre and also cares for injured animals and has a veterinary facility attached.
