Hi br bear . . . that earlier picture is actually Cosmo's niece Rishi ('Squeak') having an after-brunch nap. Cosmo is sitting right beside me as I type, waiting for treats. Last night he arrived back in the house from the back yard with very smelly paws, so was gently lowered into the bathtub (without much water in it) for a foot rinse. He found a warm place at night, cleaned himself up, and has emerged today none the worse for wear, smelling a lot better.

Sorry I missed bear, booktopia, Stretton and Alessa . . . Was off to Mt. Victoria, and when I came home found lots of hail in my neighbourhood. Seems I missed one of the biggest hail storms of the year! Here's the deepest patch still remaining in my back yard . . .

Phew! Finally home after spending the whole day out.

@Ice: Jack Reacher was great. I love Tom Cruise and enjoyed him in the movie. I've never read any of the books, so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me so much who got cast in for it. Cobie Smulders was great and it was nice to see her outside of the Marvel Universe.

Going to see Doctor Strange tomorrow or Monday. Can't wait. I've heard it's very good.
