Very mild up in the mountains this morning, but rather gray and a bit breezy . . . we might possibly get another thunderstorm.

If there's any more hail, I'll try to get better pictures this time.

br, yes, there are a lot of beautiful gardens in these parts, and I visited a couple during the annual 'Leura Garden Festival' two weeks ago. Some gardens have to be seen to be believed, and yesterday's hail may have crumpled quite a few of the glamourous ones. Only a few parts of the upper mountains got hit with heavy hail, but we got hit hard around here. Nevertheless, my own flowering trees seem to be none the worse for wear. This photo isn't mine, but from someone I know in nearby Katoomba . . .



Looked like a spring snowstorm . . .

BTW, these rosellas sometimes hide in my cedar trees and look like little Christmas ornaments!
