Thanks too to matina and H for remembering the late Leonard Cohen with me . . . My own memories of him go back to his early work from 1967. When Bob Dylan was award the Nobel Prize for Literature, a couple of articles suggested (with all respect to Mr. Zimmerman) that Leonard Cohen would have been an even better choice. Modern folks may not remember the two novels and four books of poetry, that he wrote in addition to his wonderful songs. He was still performing until relatively recently.
