So, three weeks without a computer :(
And now I have a new one and a very empty Calibre Library!!!
I haven't lost everything, some is on MEGA and some is in an external hard drive, but there's no logic to what is where or where I should search for stuff and I have no idea how to get it all back into my Calibre library - or I just start again??!!.......

duabi how good to see you i have so missed you good luck with the rebuilding of the library first 3 rules of computer is 1 back up 2 Back Up and 3 BACK UP!!! i too found out the hard way;-( many years ago never ever again;-(

Dubai . . . that's very sad news. I have a 3.5 TB external hard drive and keep everything backed up religiously. I also have cloud backups for the really important stuff (like the 21,500 books on my Calibre and my genealogy database). Hope you can get at least part of your library back . . .
