It's been raining on and off over here for the past 3 days. Today we've got light rain here and there, with some big fluffy clouds. It's cooler now (24C-26C) than on the weekend, when we got 28C-30C. It's supposed to be winter, but I don't feel it at all.

Greetings to Alessa and ysf . . . matina, will be writing again soon.

According to the Blue Mountains City Council's online weather station, it got up to 28 degrees today in nearby Katoomba, but my car thermometer was reading only about 25 as I was driving around this afternoon, back and forth to the post office. Am sorry for the folks on the equator with the constant heat and humidity, and for those in the northern climes (or far south, like Patagonia) who have long and cold winters. I continue to be happy here in the Blue Mountains, where it seems to be (usually) just about right! Am off for my nap now . . .
