It is so cold, so the heater will definitely be on before I head to bed. Fortuante for me, I have some chores to do before than, so that should warm me up.

Zoie, br and Alessa . . . that rainbow lorikeet photo (not by me) was probably photoshopped to bring out the colours, but in fact those birds are incredibly brightly coloured, hence their name. The photo wasn't touched up as much as you'd think. The story was about these birds finding some fermented berries and becoming tipsy and nearly falling off their perches. So that one lorikeet was probably thinking of going back for another berry!

matina, back from the dentist and hope your day has gone OK. Know it's stressful. I stopped off at one of my favourite coffee shops and rewarded myself!

Thanks, Amill. We won't see much energetic dancing over Christmas at Leura Mall, but I took lots of photos today (November 30th) of the various public Christmas decorations being put up. Shops along the street have had them in the windows for two weeks now. It will be festive but low key up here in the mountains. No doubt there will be many 'Christmas at the Beach' celebrations down in Sydney, though. These could be fairly wild . . .

Today is the unofficial 'first day of summer' here in Oz, as matina and Katy well know. It's sunny and warm up in the upper Blue Mountains, but not too hot. Just right!

hey bear it seems your the only one about at the moment;-) i popped in before nana nap and then when i get up resume the phone programming!! damn thing is i have 4 handsets and an answering machine to do plus learn how to program Satan's new phone as well. then teach him how to use it next week
im worn out just thinking about it all and my fingers are killing me
