Good morning, matina and Katy and Alessa!

matina, we also had one of our warmest nights so far this summer . . . never went below 23 degrees. Now it's 27 but supposed to be hotter later today. Roger has decided to abandon his walk! Wish you could plunge into one of my brother's icy lakes, at least for a minute or two!

Katy, not as hot as expected (so far) and I'm going to go to my acupuncture later and then meet up with Roger. He's bringing his 'Nighthawk' mobile hotspot (which is his entire internet connection now . . . no NBN) so I can try it out at my house and see what kind of speeds I get.

No new photos as yet from New Zealand. I'm pretty sure my son's family is on the road to beautiful Queenstown right now.

John, lots and lots of advertising on TV here about the Winter Olympics, with special emphasis that this one is located more or less in our own time zone, which makes everything more convenient. We're two hours ahead of South Korean time. (Eastern Australian Daylight Time is 16 hours ahead of Maine and so 15 hours ahead of you in Chicago.)
