'Nighthawk' mobile hotspot 20GB at $75 a month gosh that is steep! this is 3G as apposed to the one in America offered by AT&T which is 4G going on 5G yeah i dont think so too little GB for my liking and too pricey for my pockets

iiNet is presently charging me $70 per month, unlimited data, plus unlimited local & national phone calls.

when it works lol but it is unlimited data and local phone calls i read the terms of nighthawk and the phone calls are classed as data too and when you think 20gb for $75 it is alot of money for a little amount of data. when it classes phone calls as data you will chew that up very quickly indeed. be careful PJ

Good night, Katy! Have a good evening. I can't even remember where I got that stained glass cockatoo. But I have some others as well: king parrots, galahs and rosellas. They look nice when the sun shines through them.

matina, I've given up on Nighthawk. The mobile phone signal at my house isn't strong enough, and I get only 7-8% of the already low NBN speed. So that option is out, for sure. Nearest tower just isn't near enough. I think Roger lives quite near a tower out in Lithgow.

John, will keep posting on the Aussies competing in the Winter Olympics. Could be a couple of medal chances.

PJ the other thing is depending on how many GB he had left, as we all know when you get close to your limit the speed drops considerably to a snails pace but it was a very very expensive proposition. good luck in finding something that suits.

A Saturday morning hello to matina and Katy and Alessa! The weekend is here! (Not that it matters all that much when you're retired, of course.)

Waiting for photos from NZ of the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers . . . where my son's family is now staying for a couple of days in an airbnb. I visited there years ago and slept in rented car right next to the Franz Josef Glacier. Those two magnificent ice sheets run right down into the sub-tropical rain forest. Amazing location.

Yes, the Winter Olympics have officially started and I'm making sure John is always up to date on the Aussie competitors.
