John, had a good talk with my brother today about the Winter Olympics, but he said the big time zone gap was a problem. Like me, he's waiting for the MLB season to begin!

Haven’t watched any of the Olympics and I live in a time zone 30 mins behind Korea. But then again, I don’t watch much TV except the occasional cooking show. I prefer to stream my shows and watch them online. No commercials

Photo shows a hut in the beautiful mountains of the South Island of NZ. My son's family are home now and I'm waiting for more pictures.

John, you have quite a lot of sports action going on now at the Sports Center, don't you? And coming up will be the Commonwealth Games and the opening of the MLB season. (Spring training games starting soon, of course.)

Katy, it down to 11 degrees last night (about 40 F) which is pretty darn cold for midsummer up here. It's only 14 right now. But the truth is, I'm very glad for the cooler weather.

Good thing you mentioned today was a stat, Bear. I had planned to go out... I always forget about the Feb holiday 'Family Day' a made up day so we can have a stat holiday every month...

Stretton, here's how my brother and his retired friend Larry spent part of President's Day . . . cleaning up two 1990s vintage Hondas in one of his big workshop storage areas . . . Bought for $750 at a yard sale the other day, they want to re-sell them for $1750 each. Both have been in storage for years, elderly owners moved away, and are in very good condition. Anyhow living in Maine want a bargain?

matina, hope the chiropractor helps. My brother had his regular acupuncture yesterday, for his chemo side effects.

Stretton, here's a photo of the other Honda, with my brother's friend working on it. I think both cars were in storage for many years. Vehicles in Maine tend to have a lot of salt/rust damage because of the winters there, so these two do look well cared for. My brother's friend, retired and looking for fun things to do, is very optimistic that they'll each make $1000 for an hour or two of cleaning!
