Yes, Katy, a lot goes on while we're sleeping. Unfortunately, I seem to be seeing the re-runs! Anyhow, will now avert my eyes and concentrate on John's hockey and curling results, from the Olympics.

Good news is that I'm going to be a koala research volunteer! I had thought I'd have to go out in the bush across the street and keep my eyes peeled for fuzzy creatures up in the gum trees. But, no . . . I'm going to spend to four hours at a time watching thermal imaging results from drones, via the internet, which aims to see how effective inexperienced observers can be, using the newest wildlife monitoring technology. Soon I hope to post some examples here. (As you guessed, this is part of my son's work in Queensland.)
