Good morning (Friday already) to matina and Katy and Alessa! The week has flown by . . .

No seafood for me, matina, but I have to go and pick up some spring water this afternoon . . . am down to my last big bottle.

Katy, my grand niece's 'other' grandparents send her and her parents on a week-long cruise, that began and ended in Florida. A lot of people from Maine end up there during the winter! Enjoy your shopping!

It's cooled off up here in the mountains again, down to 12 overnight, but no rain. Now only 17 but feels a bit chillier.

Am going to try to do more thermal image watching this afternoon. Am regularly sending my son my spreadsheets so that he can make sure I'm not recording it wrong . . .

YES! how did you know sherly? it has been a great diet nothing to complain about except bad horrible tasting food found some tommys for $5.99 a kilo i got 2 an a half kilos now to filet them later today

John, glad you're catching up on some sleep. I didn't get up especially early this morning, and when I did, Cosmo was watching me, reminding me that it's no good to skip breakfast!

My poor wife is going through Windows 10 Hell.
2 days ago, a Windows "Update" happened. It knocked out all of her USB ports. Which meant, no keyboard, no mouse, no NOTHING.
Trying fixing things when you can't even give a command...
She managed to get through to Microsoft online support. After hearing her problem, they started moving her up the food chain to live/phone support.
They admitted the problem was the latest update, and she got booted up to a level 3 support engineer to help her solve the problem.
They've been at it now for over 5 hours, but it looks like they are finally reinstalling windows again.
They needed my computer to download stuff... and I hate when some stranger takes remote access of MY COMPUTER. ARGHHHHHHHH.
She's going to end up losing all of her software, but her files are still intact. She whined about not wanting to buy another copy of Office, and they said they would take care of that. But she still is going to reload a bunch of software.
But I will admit, their service has been outstanding.

I think Microsoft needs to be rebooted (the old fashioned way) why cant they just leave things alone and stop stuffing things up. BBQ lunch is over im stuffed

JG - I can feel your wife's pain... MS support is good but they bring it on themselves with those darn updates... that's what I ended up doing too... had to do a Win 10 reinstall from my second computer and configure from scratch, but at least I had my data... only lost bookmarks... and time, so much time...
