matina, sorry I don't have any more pictures from my brother's house in Maine. They lost a lot of their snow during recent rains. But it can snow a lot during March and even April, so more photos may be on the way.

Katy, warming up here in the mountains too . . . 13 degrees last night and now I see the thermometer has shot up to nearly 25. Hope you have a good weekend! (Yes, my daily koala thermal image watching is wearing me out. But I might not be finished for another two weeks!)

I am free again for another week!!! Satan has left the building. i cant believe the amount of crap they send out during a state election holly hell. plus being inundated with phone calls asking which way we will vote how undemocratic is that so much for a secret ballot vote i hang up as soon as i know its them. talk about harassment they never seem to want to know what we think and feel once they get in office (only when its election time) I am soooo over it!!

Yes, Katy, I've been busier lately and not feeling my usual chipper self. I want so much to help my son get his Ph.d. that I'm stressing out over getting my tiny part of the koala survey done as quickly as possible. There's so little I can do to help him these days (remembering that he's 42 years old and has two nearly-grown-up children of his own) that when I get a chance to contribute something, I go all out!

matina, trust the rest of your weekend will go well. Sat out in the sun in the back yard this morning until it got a bit too hot for me.



Here's a juvenile crimson rosella who turned up on the front deck, in the absence of any cockies. He (or she) hasn't quite turned crimson yet.

Sherly, since my favorite is really Jack Daniel's (which some call a bourbon) that's a whiskey. If I want real bourbon, it's Knob Creek all the way.

hello all and tomorrow have to go to church for a memorial service and then out to lunch so a busy day again tomorrow I pray my feet hold up time for the A?C as it is getting a little too warm for my liking last night was 17 degrees but it was 76% humidity it was stiffing had me panting like a guppy out of water i hate humid weather it leaves me breathless. so on that note time for coffee in front of the A/C.
Sherly can i start a crowd funding page here for assistance to pay my power bill??? because i am soooo going to need it!

JG - well I had some of the bookmarks backed up, but I get so many after a while, the export will fail, no matter how many times I try, and I didn't know what was causing it to fail... so I had good intensions, but a failure in execution... I'm currently able to back them up, if the fail starts up again, I'll have to call MS Support...

Yeah... I've lost bookmarks once due to a "catastrophic computer failure". My back up was on the local hard drive. (stupid moron)
I will NEVER lose them again.

Stretton, with both Opera and Chrome (and probably Firefox, which I don't use anymore) you can save your browser account, which means all your settings, including your bookmarks. That way, when you reinstall the browser, after a crash or whatever, you have your browser back with all your settings and every detail.

Lots of photos just arrived from my daughter-in-law, showing more scenes from the family's recent trip to New Zealand. Will post three now and then maybe a few as the days go by. Some show very, very spectacular scenery, especially on the South Island.

Have done more than two hours of work today . . . nearly three actually . . . on my son's koala survey project, so have just about had it with computers for the night.
