Prepping Brussel spouts like that, does sound really good, maybe I should give them another chance... but whatever you do to asparagus will just not work for me icky!! Actually frozen cauliflower here is cheaper than fresh with an added bonus that it's already ready to go...
Go Bear... Go Bear!!
Good morning, matina and Katy and Alessa . . . Wednesday already . . .
matina, here's a photo from my niece, taken a few hours ago. They're in the middle of a blizzard, with 36 cm already on the ground, and up to 61 cm expected . . .
Katy, overnight rain has stopped and the sun is out! A bit on the cool side . . . The mynahs seem to live in Katoomba. We really don't get many here in Leura, as far as I've noticed . . .
Hi to John and Diva and br bear and Ice and Stretton too. Hope you're all staying well.
More thermal image viewing for me today . . . more than 60% finished now . . .

the mynah birds are savage killers. they killed our canary's in the cage one year they would make them come close enough to the cage and they would attack ripping their heads clean off savage little beasts. i can honestly say back in my youth on our fruit property i made a nice dent in their population numbers Oh how i miss my slug gun
parrots are ok they do destroy property and fruit but only attack other life if threatened oh and they can sure bite
yes stretton give them a go again they are great they are after all mini cabbages so what you can do with a cabbage you can do with brussel sprouts. have you tried pickled asparagus oh to die for
or in a quiche yummy
or fry them up and beat a couple of eggs and pour it over the cooked asparagus and some toast salt pepper and a squeeze of lemon yummmy!!!! I must come visit and teach you to cook woman (teddy obviously didn't teach you a thing the freeloader)
you go bear shake it baby shale it and all while wearing no underwear

matina, those are sure some cute puppies. Shame that Cosmo has forbidden any canine companionship. (He's having his afternoon nap right now, as is Rishi. Sunnya has wandered off into the back yard for some hunting and then a fresh air snooze.)
Sunny and beautiful up here . . .
