Good morning (well, early afternoon now) to matina and Katy and Alessa.

Have just finished my weekly Skype call with my brother. Should have started at 11 am but he had to wait for his Windows 10 to finish updating and then I had trouble with my internet connection here. But we had a good talk and I found out that my brother and his wife will fly down to Florida this week, for seven days, to stay with a local friend who lives there. Will make a great change from all the Maine snow!

matina, we do spend a lot on our animals. All three fuzzies are due to see the vet in April, to have checks on their gums and teeth. Won't be cheap.



Katy, luckily my car didn't get an air bag recall. Hope it can be done quickly and easily. I assume there will be no cost. Hope Monday is a bit cooler for you than Sunday. It's sunny and about 25 degrees here right now. Have been reading the news about the expected bush fire at Tathra and can only say that we should be thankful that no-one was killed. What a terrible surprise. The Blue Mountains area was very lucky this past summer, because we've had similar tragedies in recent years.

Morning all taking snowy to vet for his vaccinations today none of us are happy we for the expense him because of the injections lol

I remember when I was little, whenever my doggy got sick, I used to sleep with him and then just like magic he seemed to get better, he did get better.
The best sleeping condition is in a hammock snuggling with your dog at 8°C/46°F, to be honest..

Hi, br bear . . . hope you're heading off to bed now!

Am about to start on the final two thermal image sessions for my son. Then I'll be finished. Shouldn't take me more than an hour and a bit . . . I hope. Has been a long effort, but I've been so happy to help him in a small way. I don't know when his entire Ph.D. project will be finished.



Yesterday I out in the bush across the street, taking possible SMY photos . . .

matina and Katy, it's only about 26 degrees up here right now. Had the AC on for a while.

John, I'll post more later about where my brother will be staying in Jupiter, Florida (courtesy of Dick Scott, now working for the Marlins) and what he'll do during the final days of Grapefruit League spring training. He and his wife are flying down to Palm Beach from Maine on Tuesday morning, via my 'favourite' Philadelphia airport!

And my parents used to live just South of Jupiter in West Palm Beach. I used to love going down their in late Winter and catching some Grapefruit League Games.

Isak... while many of us our REALLY grown ups... it seems we mostly act like children

matina... one of the down side of pets... doctor bills. But them make up for it with their love

katy... we had the big recall here as well. The car I got rid of needed a new air bag, but I didn't even bother since I knew I wasn't going to be keeping it. The car I bought wasn't on the recall list

Pj we've been waiting months to get this air bag fixed luckily at no cost to us, just inconvenient without a car for the day It's another hot one 35c John our car isn't that old so I was surprised by the recall it was a worry tho I think that last pic of Pjs is some sort of bottle brush

Yay! Have finished all my koala thermal image viewing, completed the data entry on the spreadsheet, and sent it all off to my scientist son! A great feeling! (Now, if only my neck will get back to normal. Am using Deep Heat and Boswellia but not Voltaren, due to matina's advice.)

Katy, it was close to 29 degrees up here today, but is starting to drop now. Due for cooler temperatures and some rain tomorrow. But right now it's a lovely summer's late afternoon . . .

John, it's a kind of banksia, but I'm not sure which one . . . There are about a million types, all colours, and that one has sort of gone to seed and dried out . . .
