well i am finally home
welcome ferret to the forum dont be sh,y because we certainly are not the more the merrier and nuttier we all become.
PJ all is going well so far with the note book but it is always updating even when i want to shutdown it asks update then shutdown hmmm i dont like this one bit. but my friend tells me it is part of windows 10 and that i should have fun learning how to cripple it, i told him that's easy it is called a hammer but he then said no. i had to learn how to turn off the updates on it as windows 10 is notorious for always updating.
It is the key reason people hate it so much now i see what you were all talking about see i did pay attention
I'm on unlimited data so i am not so fussed about the updates while at home but when i am at Satan's and hot-spotting from my phone it's an issue as it goes through data and while it is doing that it isn't directing its full potential to the task i want to be doing at the time
well on that note since connect four isn't updated i am off to have a nap.
i could have killed Satan with my bare hands today his new power bill arrived from the new provider i signed him up for his last bill with AGL was $299 this one was for $140 $150 saving and he wanted to bitch about the fact that if he doesn't pay it on time that he will have to pay more where as AGL never offered him any discounts pay on time or otherwise.
i told him he could Always give me the $150 saving, if he thought it was nothing to write home about. but oh no anything to whinge about let no credit or a word of thanks ever think of accidentally fly out of his hell hole of a mouth. so i told him if he didn't stop bitching i was going to re-sign him up with AGL again and he could shove it. That seemed to do the trick to make him cease his bickering enough so i could leave and come home im exhausted i am so over the constant nagging and hassling, stress so i said well if you can do better then why do you need me? do it your way. the silence was deafening so i made a break for it!!! time for nap! see you all later

Katy, first one cocky showed up, and then another, and now I can see four out on the front deck, eating their 'wild bird mix' quite happily. Haven't seen any for a couple of weeks. Lots of rosellas and king parrots, though.

matina, welcome to the joys of Windows 10. Once it gets itself fully updated, it shouldn't be trying to connect all that often. But controlling the updates can be the way to go. Keep us posted.

John, am pleased at the good start made by the Yankees. In fact, both Stanton and Judge went hitless today!

Just back from a very nice walk around the Sublime Point area. Beautiful day and a kind of Indian Summer. More pictures later.
