Katy, my mum loves Outlander, too. She read all of the books (after seeing the first and second seasons), and loved them. I'm hoping that season 4 will be done by her birthday so she can watch it that day.

shopping done and errands done filled the car with petrol $60 and at a $1.47 per liter not bad since lately it has been sitting on $1.65 per liter and this isn't the premium unleaded that is swinging between $1.75- $1.85 god almighty it is getting dearer than gold.
picked up our prescriptions etc. shopping is all put away now had lunch now time for a well deserved nana nap.

i tried the audio books but i kept falling a sleep every couple of pages lol i have yet to try and attempt to read them i have them all it is on my very large and lengthy to read list time for coffee and cake.
now sherly if it was an all expenses paid vacation to Scotland up for grabs i would definitely NOT be re donating that. or a green card to be able to stay in Alaska for good that would be awesome!!!

hmmmm it was me telling you the prices of fuel JG (too much scotch or not enough??) (or maybe some new reading glasses)
really 66 cents per liter at that rate even with 10% GST on it and shipping it is still cheaper so start sending me some JG yeap they think by xmas we will be paying around $1.80 per liter for normal unleaded.

What is really silly... At the gas stations, liter bottles of water usually cost around a dollar... so about 50% more than gas

coke a cola is cheaper at $2,50 $3 375 ml can and $3.50 600ml bottle

Matina, thanks for the PJ updates! I appreciate them. I hope he's healing and recovering well.

Katy, thank you! Mum thoroughly enjoyed the Outlander books. I put them all on the kindle for her last year, and it took her a couple of months, but she got through them. How did you find them? Apart from long.

Also, that sounds like a fun contest! Count me in!

JG, yes I read the sticky post, always read the stickies.

One problem for me in this thread is most of the "talking" takes place when I'm asleep or off the computer.

I hear you... there isn't a lot of action here during the North American Day since many of the regulars are on the other side of the world.
Hopefully, we can get some new blood from OUR SIDE OF THE WORLD and change that.
