Happy Boxing Day or a late Merry Christmas, everyone . . . depending on your time zone!

Katy and matina, it's 'only' 27 degrees here, another bright and sunny day in the mountains. Likely to become hotter as the day goes on. I talked to my son and his family in Queensland yesterday (nice and warm up there) and early this morning caught my brother at home on Christmas morning. All the phones in his area were out, so I was lucky to be able to talk to him on his mobile. Top picture shows Maine ice crystals against the sky, especially for matina!

My rehab schedule mandate two twenty minute walks daily, so the lower photo shows my progress along the western side of Sublime Point . . . looking towards Katoomba in the distance.



I know everyone doesn't celebrate Christmas, so will send Happy New Year greetings to the others. Trust that your 2019 will be a good one, BambiReader.

It’s a drizzly 20C right now and it’s an improvement from yesterday’s rainy 25C. Yes, it was a pretty warm Christmas day.

Nice picture, pjm. Two 20 minute walks? You always do way more than that, so I’m sure you can handle it

On my way to work, very noisy commute with a little kid babbling near me. I’d like to wait until I’m at work to be subjected to such noises, thank you very much.

Christmas kinda is not great for me usually, but I'll be ok. Living alone, not having much family contact, everything being closed...

Quiet Boxing Day afternoon here . . . fuzzies dozing . . . and I'm doing a bit of reading. Must get out soon for a walk.

Temperature has made its way up to 28 degrees, but that's not too bad. Have the AC on low.

Very pleased to have spoken to my brother and his son early this morning.

Not much else in the way of news . . . am still at work finding books, in a slightly reduced capacity. Am presently watching crimson rosellas out on the front deck . . .

hello all! i would say good morning, but one has to sleep for that to happen.
I had a night from hell right kidney pain, dont know if it is from an infection, stone, or just dehydrated. I got up last night had a Ural sachet and a hydra-lite. I will have more today, as it seemed to ease up a bit, but pain still there not a happy camper ;-( going to spend it laying down on the couch drinking lots of fluids today see if it helps. today 41 is the forecast it was 23 last night hot as hell.
