Greetings, everyone!

Surprise discharge from Katoomba Hospital this evening, after 'only' six days there, despite still suffering from pneumonia. They can't find a doctor to do the 'pleuro tap' and decided I could just as well go home and wait there, maybe another 4-5 days. I'm back on a lot (a lot) of meds that will keep me alive, so I'll just have to bear with the side effects. All that said, it's good to be home, and Rishi is dozing on my printer, just to my right. 21 of the past 35 days in hospital is enough for me . . .

Special thanks to matina for keeping in touch, and contacting mods. I really appreciate it.

Those waiting for books, etc., won't have to wait too much longer because I can catch up quickly now that i have a Windows OS and a real keyboard!

Photo shows the 'old' entrance to Katoomba Hospital, now the back door, where I exited an hour ago.

Haven't read past week's TLWBF posts yet, but will catch up over the next 24 hours.

I do kinda wish you were still in the hospital though, since you still have pneumonia... but I guess they know what's best and safe, and you will get a better quality rest at home, hospitals can sure be busy places... Yes, it's good to be home but I still have pneumonia and am (literally) on 14 different meds. Wonder what these side effects are going to do to me.

Very hot up here today and very windy. Am staying indoors.
