My brother in Maine reports that he spent hours plowing snow, and then it all changed to rain and got washed away!

23 degrees up here in the mountains and partly sunny. Typical summer weather for us here.

It's been hectic around the house. BOTH my daughters are coming home for a weekend stay. My youngest arrived earlier today and the other will be in sometime on Friday
My eldest is in town to hunt for a wedding dress. My wife will be joining my daughters and a host of friends to find the perfect wedding dress this weekend. THANK GOD I'M NOT BEING DRAGGED INTO THIS

So forgive me if I'm not around much... things are simply crazy here

But one thing I can say with my daughters home...

any of you familiar with this [...] symbol in the beginning of a sentence (or maybe also sometimes at the end of a sentence?)

Any kind soul wants to share the function of the symbol in the literary world? I'm just curious, cuz all this while I think it means there is another line before that line but the person doesn't want to quote that previous line, so they use a symbol instead?
