Good morning, everyone!

I stopped at this little Tardis Police Box in Blackheath on Thursday. It's a 'free library' next to someone's driveway.

Katy, am feeling a bit better every day and doing my breathing exercises!

Hi to matina and Stretton.

Warm and sunny up here in the mountains today, after two days of rain.

Took a little walk down the street today (Saturday), although it was a bit on the warm side. Photo shows the famous 'Sisters' rock formation. After all the rain, everything looked green and lush.

Also talked to my son and got further details about my grandson's successful ear operation. (He's already back in the gym, practicing his martial arts!)

matina, so glad you found it!

Trust everyone will have a good weekend.

English seems way easier than it actually is.

Only when you're quoting something, and the tendency is to drop them, it seems.

Good night/morning/afternoon. :-D And happy weekend.

Hi to you too, Sher, just in case you read this.

Today I went to the theme park to visit my another favorite animal - Penguin, and I'm :D to see these cuties!!
Image

A bunch of penguins followed the caretakers around whenever they show up, even if it was the sterilizer instead of basket of fish held in their hands.
Image

This poor penguin got a spot baldness in its body :( I hope it's just a hairless spot rather than a wound.

Feeling happy, satisfied and tired. Goodnight all.

Good afternoon, everyone! I'm running a bit late today (Sunday) because I had a good sleep-in this morning. Cloudy and 21 degrees up here . . . a bit cooler than yesterday, for which I'm grateful.

Katy, yes, I got a lot more details by phone from my son. The ear seems to have healed completely and he's off the pain medication.

matina, I'm leading off with a photo from an apparent Tasmanian Tiger sighting, although the location isn't clear to me. I think this Peter Groves spotted it twice somewhere in Tassie, and managed a long-distance photo once. We've had a lot of 'black cat' or 'black panther' (ABC or 'alien black cats') sightings here in the mountains, but none recently. I'd love to think that these two species are hiding out somewhere.

Great penguin photos, Seb! Hi to Ada and slynch too. 40 degrees C is 104 degrees F. 37 degrees F is normal body temperature. I really hope we don't get too many more hot days here in the mountains this summer. I used to love the heat and humidity when I worked up in Darwin so many years ago, in the early 1970s, but I've sure changed.
