I'm just watching some new British mysteries... boy it's either feast or famine with those people... right now airing Vera, Father Brown, Silent Witness, Death in Paradise and I think one other... and then there will be nothing for 6 months... not sure why they don't space them better... like the new series of Father Brown gets a new episode every week day and they only have 10 of them... space it out... and no I'm not going to save them and space them out myself, that would drive me crazy... LOL...

...anyway I hope you're all enjoying your week so far!!

Hi, everyone. Back from the morning appointment at Westmead and it's about 35 degrees here in the upper mountains right now. Was in the high 30s as I passed through Penrith. I know matina and Katy and no doubt Star are suffering more. Left the AC on, so the house is quite cool.

Ada, we'd have enough heat to melt both North America and Europe . . . if only we could export it!

Stretton, it will be a few more days until I get my test results. Finished one antibiotic today and will finish the second in two days. Pneumonia seems to be responding quite well. Fingers crossed.

Will be back later with more pictures.

My brother in Maine reports cold weather (-18 degrees C) but no more snow. He's been sanding icy driveways. Sure is different from here in Oz.

Flag at Leura Mall shows little wind today . . . temperature was over 35 degrees at the time.

Stretton... are any of the new Mysteries worth watching?

If you like those type of mysteries, then yes... these are all long running shows, so if you've watched the previous series then you're going to want to watch these, as well... there is a new Canadian series that just started you may like, it's called Coroner with Serinda Swan (I liked her in Breakout Kings)...and there is another one called Private Eyes that's about 3 seasons in (or maybe 2) that stars Jason Priestly...

PJ - fingers crossed on your tests coming back with some excellent results... glad to hear you're kicking pneumonia's butt!!

Boy here's to hoping your A/C doesn't conk out over there in Australia!!

Well not the air con conking out but power failures happen all the time asshats we pay the highest power prices in the world and they cant garantee constant supply. 27 last night 41 today im so over it day 8 of over 30 degree days ;-(GET ME OUT OF HERE)

Yeah, this heat is enough to make anyone grumpy.
Port Augusta had 52 in the streets, but 48.9 on 'record'. Which is annoying, but w/e. Apparently we were only 37 here, but people on facebook, etc, were saying it was 43+ at 1pm. But they go from the 'official' location, which is at the airport, which is always significantly cooler. So that's stupid to me.
