Good morning, everyone! And Merry Christmas again!
matina, my brother's Christmas card just arrived, after more than a month in transit, and I thought you'd enjoy the snowy scene. You've seen this view previously, looking towards Acadia National Park, but this year my brother and his wife featured the famous Christmas tree sale for their annual card. It's about -15 degrees there right now, by the way.
Hi, Katy. Heard that the Penrith area is heading for 45 degrees on Friday! Hope you can stay in the AC!
Star, you probably 'win the prize' in northern SA. It's was 'only' 31 here in the mountains at 11 am, heading for a measly 36 degrees by mid-afternoon. That's about 97 degrees F for those of you in the US. (45 degrees C is 113 F and 50 degrees is about 122 F.) Whew!
Fuzzies have been indoors since about 9 am. They don't seem to complain, but always find the coolest spots.
Thanks for the good wishes, Stretton. I'm back for more appointments next week, but so far, so good. Finishing up the antibiotics for pneumonia tomorrow. Think they've done their job.
