Edit - Mwah ha ha - you know how sometimes an author will put a small short story freebie on their site and it's part of a series, but when you start the series and try to go and find it, it's already been deleted... I figured out how to turn it into an epub while it's still on the site so that it can be filed with the rest of the series... I know everyone has probably figured it out already and I'm late to the party but it's the little things...

It isn't series specific, you know in GoodReads when in the description it will sometimes say that book 0.1 is on the author's site, what I've been doing is making a note of it, but sometimes when I go to read the series it isn't there anymore... this way I can turn it into an epub and put it with the other books, so when I'm ready to read the series, it's there... you need to have MS Word though to do it...

I thought MS applications are embedded to the computer every time I bought a new pc, there were (old version) MS applications installed for my use.

But if you do not have MS word, you may consider copying the book content to Google Docs, it’s free to use as long as you’ve google a/c. Then you convert Google Docs to pdf, eventually to epub.
I once used MS word to create a book including book cover for my keeping.

Edit: I re-read your post, and realised that you said you’ve figured it out, so I thought my tip mentioned above is meaningless

That's okay Seb!! It looks like there's more than one way to do it... It's just that I'm a luddite, and I don't have kids to show me how to do things, so I'm not that quick on the draw...

Now if I could just figure out why when I change the name of a folder, and I move it, it sometimes goes back to the original title, not all the time, just sometimes... I have a work around but the whole thing is a pain in the butt...

had the neighbor wake me up this morning as her mobile phone isn't working may have to buy her a new one (no rest for the wicked) id kill for just one day to have as my own just to sit and do NOTHING! no phone calls no interruptions no shopping no forms to fill in no chores just to have a whole day to just sleep and read eat and repeat!

Good morning, matina, Katy, Stretton, FreezeMe, Seb and all the TLWBF regulars.

Yes, I couldn't sleep quite early this morning, and got up and checked my e-mails, and found that my brother's most recent snowstorm had stopped. He and his son and his wife's cousin had been out plowing snow from just after midnight until about 8 in the morning.

Sunny and 22 degrees up here in the mountains . . . another beautiful day but rather windy. Rain due tonight. Heard at least one helicopter so am hoping that no-one is in trouble in the National Park.

No eating for me today . . . only liquids . . . and then no liquids tomorrow until my procedure at Nepean Private Hospital. Should be rather routine and not an overnight stay. Diva, I have my vegetable stock cubes read for this afternoon and evening!

In fact, I think I'll head off and enjoy a nice, hot drink right now!
