I'm still right in the maelstrom of the recruitment process, though. I'm so fed up with all the tests and interviews and checks and vettings....I'm starting to think that it might have been easier to get into MI5 However, I'm stubborn, so I persevere.
But it also means that I don't have enough energy to be particularly active on here at the moment.
I mostly just pop in for a minute or two at a time to find/request books and take part in some of the quicker and easier contests. I'll be back soon enough, though, chatting my head off with you, lovely mad people. Expect a fox infestation and kilt galore

Visitors (haven't seen them for more than 30 years) coming Monday after my regular phone call to my brother.

Hello everyone
So , remember when i said that i'll be awake until tomorrow morning .. Well 3 hours after that i went to sleep again . At the end i found out that i have a flu and that's why i feel drowsy , my brother is sick for 5 days now but i didn't feel anything until i woke up again . My immune system is literally putting me to sleep , i barely ate anything and all i want is to drink water and go back to sleep. Unfortunately i have some things to do and my phone battery died so i had to wake up to charge my phone , rain won't fall outside so i'm relying on yt .

Ada - happy weekend to you too , unfortunately for me is anything but happy but i'll survive

the hot humid nights have made me a zombie of the night of the walking dead and a psoriasis flare up from hell talk about the itchy and scratchy show so on that note i am going to go baste myself with whatever cream ointment i can find and then plant myself directly in-front of the air-conditioner have pain relief and a nice captain Morgans rum with lemonade on the rocks with a twist of lime and nobody better ask for anything as i am in a killing mood today!!!!mountains and all

And below, a picture from my friend Roger, showing a relatively rare (not endangered, though) Gang Gang Cockatoo . . . Thought John might like this one. I hardly ever get one of these visiting on my front deck, but can sometimes hear their distinctive cries in the distance.

Has got a bit cloudy here in the mountains . . . temperatures up to about 24 degrees or so.

Well I have chronic sinusitis so I always feel kinda sick, but that's normal. Nothing unusual except sleepiness. My brother felt like sh*t and he was complaining how he can't breathe and it was kinda funny to me since I literally have to use nasal spray every day and I always feel like I can't breathe. It's probably karma since I thought that it was funny .
