Good lord Matina!! :o :o No wonder they look grumpy all the time, when they know that when they go in for a little love nibble they're gonna get their heads lopped off!!!

Yes, Rex is one handsome devil... :D

I'll have to see if I can find them streaming... thank you for the recommendations!! :D

Edit - The Village and The Bay both look really good, I think I'll wait on The Fix until she's less of Lisbon in my head... :D

Another photo received overnight from my brother, especially for matina.

Stretton, yes, am feeling a bit better every day. Blood test on Wednesday and a major checkup in Penrith on Thursday.

Katy, I'm always afraid that 'real' bookshops will gradually disappear. And I guess we contribute to that here at Mobilism!

Quiet afternoon up here in the mountains . . . just had a nap. All three fuzzies likewise.

I find the damndest things on a news feed
So it's nearly Easter and we are all roped in to making Easter hats for the kids school parade

Image

A mum has shared a selfie from the moment she realised her son has accidentally created an X-rated Easter bonnet for a school parade
While the hat was meant to be a giraffe, it turned out to look rather phallic — and the result is hilarious.
“My husband laughed. I cried. But I suppose most importantly, my son was incredibly proud of our hard work. And his favourite part? The giraffes neck. Of course.’’

Good night all :) take care

Not sure where to post this... But... can anyone help - Is 3.44 dollars considered a small amount when it comes to buying a book?

I think it’s all depended on how much you want to have that book. For me, 3.44 dollars is cheap, unless the book only has cover page and a few content pages in between. :? But again, if I want the book very much, I’ll buy it anyway.

Well, to be honest, I’ll find a way to download the book instead of spending $3.44 to buy it. :shifty:

Here's another photo I took tof he two pair of rainbow lorikeets who visited the other day. They didn't stay very long. I hadn't seen any rainbow lorikeets around here for nearly a year, and that visit was a quick one too.

Bmacmillan, I'm sad to say that I never spend that much on a single book these days. Many . . . most . . . of the books I want I can find here at Mobilism for a 100% discount . . . that is, for free. Will try and see if I can fulfill any of your book requests.

matina and Katy . . . 12 degrees up here right now. We had a bit of rain late this afternoon. Supposed to go down to 9 tonight. Have to be up bright and early on Wednesday morning to take my blood test in Katoomba.

Good night, everyone!

Thanks, SebHuspup. That's what I thought - that it was cheap. I'm from SAfrica so to convert is very expensive. I wish I could find a way to download it! Its called Hardscrabble Road, a southern memoir likened to To Kill a Mocking Bird, yet noone seems to have heard of it...

John, thanks very much for looking, but it isn't the right one. The one I'm looking for is Hardscrabble Road by George Weinstein. Don't know why two different authors have the same book title.
