Good morning, everyone!

Just back from my blood test in Katoomba, and a brief stop at my local pharmacy in Leura. Am sure getting to know all the local medicos!

matina, my brother sent this photo of himself and his granddaughter at a local (very cold) beach near Acadia National Park. Temperatures rose to about 1 degrees so all the downeast Maine locals were out enjoying the sun and warm weather!

Katy, temperatures up to 17 degrees here in the mountains as of 12 noon, warmer than the past couple of days. Beautiful autumn day, nice and sunny . . . and the many non-native trees are starting to turn orange!

Pj, that's a beautiful beach, but the poor little mite looks a bit unimpressed . I suppose building sand castles while wearing eight layers of clothing plus woolen mittens isn't much fun . On second thoughts, perhaps it is!

fox, my grandniece always looks very serious! She's three years old. But yes, that beach outing wasn't for the faint-hearted.



Rishi has been enjoying a quiet afternoon (as usual). matina, it's hard to get a shot of Rishi and her sister Sunnya together. They seem to have developed a rather distant relationship, now that they've grown up. I don't know why.
