Matina,Katy - everything is okay here,chances are 99% that we're going to have the 2nd lockdown because the number of infected is increasing rapidly ,i'm just waiting for it.. Otherwise i'm taking my time off the mobi and internet in general,i have so many books to read PJ wow that sky is beautiful! Hope that you'll have a great day! Hi Kristina , Jeanette, diva, sorry to hear about lock down for you we're slowly coming out of it, but one of our southern states is in a bit of trouble with an increase in cases, so who knows with this damn thing look after yourselves be safe and I'll send you all hugs from a distance

hello all!
we just got back from drs appointment mum needs a ct scan of abdomen.
I am ok but my BP was up today (the highest it has been ever) no joke after dealing with all these phone calls Satan paperwork for both mum and i so i just dumped the rest of the paperwork on my GP for him to do his bit. told him i will see him in 2 weeks they had better be done plus i need a copy before i send it off to NDIS so they don't lose it which is normal for them (lord give me strength)

diva yes i heard about your second lockdown be safe
just when we opened our borders we have now closed them again as Victoria has had another outbreak schools are closing etc etc the army is out to help test for corona virus as so many are queuing up for them. authorities are fearing another panic buying hysteria to break out again they need to lock us down till this thing has gone for good,
no opening borders flights etc till the world is free of this plague.

I'm so sorry to hear about more possible lockdowns for Diva, FreezeMe, Jeanette and others. As Katy writes, we've been doing very well here in NSW, with only a couple of new cases daily, and of course matina is living in one of the best places, in South Australia, where the whatever-it-is virus seems to have more or less come to a stop, like in New Zealand. But the state of Victoria is suddenly showing many new virus cases every day . . . reason unknown. Or, at least, the tests are coming back positive. There are a lot of things about this coronavirus that just don't make sense. Hmmmm.

Anyhow, am just now back from one of the new coffee shops in Leura, where I enjoyed an excellent cappuccino, celebrating today's 100% great blood test results (phone appointment with my doctor). See photo below . . .

matina, sorry about your troubles and BP. I hope your GP can advise on solutions, but I don't know what you'll do about your father. I try very hard not to be a nuisance to my son . . . who is, by the way, now working in Gympie, not far from his house in Eumundi, rescuing more koalas. A mini-surprise is that both his wife and his daughter have now signed on as part-time night assistants for the koala team, working 10 pm to 4 am six days a week. Each does three nights a week, which they're finding very tiring. My son has apparently got used to this working schedule. My granddaughter is also teaching sailing again, at the Noosa Yacht Club.

Katy, hope you enjoy your outing tomorrow. 7 degrees here today and sunny. Lots of people were out and about at Leura Mall and many looked like local tourists, up from Sydney. No big tourists coaches for a long time now.

Well so much for my day out the family is sick with ear infections and head colds all have been to the Drs and cleared of anything else still the kids and my daughter have to keep away from us matina enjoy your Chiro , I could use a bowl of your soup it looked so good ,better than the Chinese one Good morning Pj good news on your blood tests it's such a relief such a beautful blue colour on those flowers are they in your garden Your son and his family are so wonderful in what they do for the koalas i guess they need as many hands as they can get to help out,well done for the kids pitching in too Time for coffee and a relax in the sun 18c 2c this morning I hope summer never comes

The 'vindow viper' (as I call him) is here today for his annual clean of my many windows, especially the upstairs windows, which I can't reach without a ladder. And I'm forbidden to go up on ladders now, even though I could easily do it! I just walked outside and checked my street (photo above) and all is OK. Very quiet. Fuzzies are hiding under the stairs . . . the constant squeaking and 'viping' scares them!

matina, always good to hear from you. Am hoping to soon have some more photos from either my brother or my son.

Katy, sorry to hear about the family illness. Hope they're better soon. Fortunately, children are usually very resilient, and bounce back soon. No tutoring for me this week and next. My lone 'Zoom' year 11 student has now finished his assignments on Russian history, South African history, 'The Great Gatsby' and a Ferlinghetti poem. He also had to watch the 2006 'Marie Antoinette' movie and answer questions. Sure keeps my mind active! Those blue flowers were near the Leura Post Office. I must go out and take some shots of my own front yeard camellias later today.

i am back from chiro feeling oh sooo good all that cracking released good endorphins, we just had lunch picked up some burgers on the way home as it was already 1pm and we were starving.
PJ love to see those camellias how is your brother going and his wife??? i bet your brother has now finished the shed he doesn't do things by halves does he???
