One of my recent front deck visitors . . . It's been very windy today, so not a single cockie has showed up. The rosellas enjoyed all the seeds. There were more than 30 of them here at one time . . . Fuzzies enjoyed their closeup ornithology . . .
I forgot to clean my glasses today, so everything has been very blurry again. I couldn't quite make out the most recent CC&BC pictures, but wonder if I should just leave my glasses a bit smudgy, so as to avoid any unwanted shocks. My doctor has my blood pressure medication very carefully balanced . . .
matina and Katy, we're lucky to have retained a few 'real' bookshops up here in the upper mountains . . . Megalong Books located right here in Leura, plus one used bookshop in Wentworth Falls and two more in Katoomba. Sure hope they survive.
Have been out to Katoomba today to see my Lithgow bushwalking friend. We had cappuccino at the Savoy and he told me about his adventures on Tuesday, with a mutual friend of about the same age. At one point he got his leg caught in a large, concealed wombat hole and it took him a while to extricate himself. He got a big bruise on his hip, but nothing too serious. This was down in the lower mountains, near Glenbrook.
Diva and Jeanette . . . always good to hear from you. Hi to Blue and FreezeMe too.
Might sign off now and have a short nap . . . bye!
