Beautiful sunset yesterday . . . my photo doesn't really do it justice. I have a great view west, from one of my upstairs living room windows.

matina, you're in a pretty safe place right now, in South Australia. I guess there are still a lot of people who have to travel. You'd think more would just stay home, but I realise that many have to work and especially those in the transport industry go everywhere. I just think the pubs and clubs are the places that should be closed. I realise, of course, that the owners of such places would go broke! Hope you're feeling well today.

Katy, it's been sunny up here too, though still only about 8 degrees. I think we had some frost this morning. I went out to my back patio and sat in the sun for a while with Sunnya. That's one of her favourite places! Sad and worrying to hear about increases in NSW virus cases, but I know we're much, much better off than many parts of the word.

I am back from running errands and grocery shopping. lunch is over so now nearing time for nana nap.

matina, hope you'll enjoy your nap. I'm waiting until about 4 pm or so. My brother had a number of sleepless nights, but has been prescribed new pain medication now. It's not a narcotic but fairly strong. His doctor says that it's not a serious problem. And his latest CAT scan shows that the 'spots' in his lungs haven't got any larger. His daughter thinks that he's doing too much heavy work and is continually re-injuring himself. Clouds are starting to roll in over Sublime Point . . . has been very quiet here today.

matina, received a few more photos from my brother overnight. He's working near the ocean, so sent these two shots. I was here during July of 2017, just between his house and the National Park. Hope you've had a good day at the hairdresser's. I spotted our local roving barber the other day, but decided I didn't need a haircut as yet! Maybe I should just go back to my hippie days of the 1960s, and save some money!

Katy, another beautiful and sunny day up here . . . now about 10 degrees at 2 pm. I think this will be the top temperature of the day. I had my breakfast in the sun, out on my back deck. The fuzzies aren't allowed to go out there. I know they'd be safe enough, but I don't want them getting in the habit. I always used to allow Cosmo out there, because I trusted him. Yes, my brother is a workaholic. I think it's his therapy, to forget about his illnesses and his worries about his wife. They're having quite warm weather in Maine now . . . but of course nothing like a Sydney summer. My brother has air conditioning in his tractor cab. I got my last free Woolies order order yesterday, and am now trying to decide whether or not to pay to have it continue. They offered me a 'Senior' package of $13.50 per month, unlimited deliveries so long as each one is over $100.

Hi to Jeanette and Diva and Blue. Hope you're all well. Virus is spreading in Victoria, but not in the rest of the country. Of course, it's nothing at all like in the US. I'm so glad my brother lives in eastern Maine.

My usual day of reading, although we may go vege shopping at the local market, matina are you well, we are having lunch tomorrow with the family my daughter is doing a baked dinner, we'll see how that goes shes a bit better cook Pj that a lot to charge for grocery delivery especially putting a limit on how much you need to spend , we still have a few free deliveries left I'm just keeping a watch on the virus situation here, our favourite shopping centre has already been closed for cleaning a worker at Kmart tested positive i hope you and the kittens are ok Happy weekend all

hello all another busy one for me trying to get most things done before the S word comes around (summer). we have had a few idiots hop the freight train to get to S.A we sent them back to Victoria. our borders are in lock down again people just don't get it!

Greetings, everyone! Am now preparing to enjoy a quiet afternoon after my four visitors yesterday. (One actually just briefly returned at 12 noon today to bring me a little gift.) Peaceful here now, with Rishi sleeping on my knees behind the laptop computer screen. She was on my bed last night, so it must have been a bit cold upstairs after the fire died down.

matina, e-mail or PM will go out this afternoon. I promise! Don't have anything else to do, except prepare a bit of kindling for tonight's fire. I have some branches (donated by my neighbour) that I have to cut up in the driveway.

Katy, it's a beautiful day up here, though a bit windy. I can see a bit of the Kings Tableland escarpment from where I'm sitting, turning golden in the sun. If I were to make a delivery order every week, or more often, the $13.50 monthly fee might be OK. However, since each order has to be more than $100, I don't think it would be economical. I think a single delivery can be as little as $7, depending on the day and time of day. I might go with that, especially if we have another lockdown. It's very handy to have a delivery for heavier items, if you buy two weeks' worth or more. Anyhow, am thinking about it.

matina, all OK here since my weekend phone call to my brother.

Katy, heading out for cappuccino at 2 pm at Katoomba, to see my Lithgow friend. Then I have to pick up a few essential items from Woolworths. Have a few facemasks available, but am really, really hoping it won't come to that here in Sydney. I could live with another lockdown but don't think our local businesses would survive more. Beautiful, sunny day here in the mountains and temperatures are now up to 9 degrees.

Was out yesterday taking photos of clouds. These two were taken across the street from my house, looking towards King's Tableland to the east.
