HELLO ALL & WELCOME NEWBIES!!
YES it was a home day for me and yes the personal helper was good. it allowed me to listen to some music while i did a few word search puzzles and just relaxed. tomorrow however will be a full on pandemonium non stop day.
1st stop to pick up some paperwork from the G.P.
2 then off to get some stationary from the reject shop
3. 10 am C.T head scan for mum
4.then off to visit Satan he is squawking about having to pay 2 electricity accounts in the 1 month he now apparently has no concept of time passing so this will be a fantastic way to chew up most of my Saturday trying to explain this to him (i checked with the company and everything is in order) then after that is sorted
5.going to visit my aunty who isn't well with Parkinson's and then hopefully come home.
6.may even do a evening run to my mothers sisters to drop off some shopping she's requested.
7.Sunday is our lunch out day so no rest till then for me.
PJ my thoughts are with you please message me if you feel up to it. I am here may god grant you the strength to endure.
Kathy it is hard on you and the kids you have my complete empathy. It pisses me off that folks are still doing the wrong bloody thing.
we had one asshat leave a medi hotel in Adelaide to go out all night partying and then return again at 6am fortunately all of his covid tests of day 1 3 6 and 9 have all come back negative but now they are looking into the security of the medi hotels and if they put a guard on every door in the place if one person says they feel like they are in jail. i am so going to lose my mind. if your going to act like a criminal then you can expect that you will be treated like one. In fact there should be jail sentences handed down for all those that break the quarantine conditions because if he was infected and gave it to others and they died from it, it is murder in my book. folks just don't bloody get it!
anyway time to go scrummage up some dinner & enjoy what is left of my sloth /home day before hell literally breaks free tomorrow.
be safe everyone and take care god bless and be with you all.

HELLO ALL!
I HOPE EVERYONE IS FINE! PJ my thoughts have been with you all day. keep me updated on how you are. Kathy your daughter is a gem to be sure you definitely raised her right.
We Just got home left at 8am home at 5pm all day driving stopping etc and repeat.
Satan was his usual self Satan personified infinity he has no concept of time passing now. we spent 3 - 4 hours
1.trying to make him understand. he remembers his power bills were every 3 months that was 6 years ago since then he has been paying monthly power bills as his now is a smart power meter so no choice but to pay monthly accounts. he kept going on and on about it in the end i said to to him either pay it or don't the choice is yours if you don't pay it you wont have power and that will be the end of that.
2.Then the whole explanation that the taxis now don't use paper vouchers they use a taxi card and that we have to send the paper vouchers back to the state government. "but why they are mine and what will i use now if they don't have the machine to use the card they will want more money". and round and round that merry go round we went. Had to physically rip them out of his hand so that we can return them as the satss board requires.
3 another hour explaining a new toothpaste he needs to use as his gum disease is progressing and need a higher fluoride toothpaste which is only available at the chemist, it ranges from $10-$15 depending on where you purchase it. so it starts "it is too much money, why do i have to buy it". his dentist recommended he go to see a gum specialist he doesn't want to go so she recommended that toothpaste. "why what's wrong with my other toothpaste" i said to him the other toothpaste wont help your gums keep your teeth in your normal toothpaste will make your teeth nice but they will fall out if your gums deteriorate more so the option is either use this toothpaste so you still can eat food or use the old one and loose the lot. then you can only have soup food pureed and yogurt etc again the choice is yours. we left after that I just couldn't take anymore the yelling the repetition being totally ignore because it wasn't what he wanted to hear or acknowledge.
well my day in a nutshell
PJ we got everything done and a couple of more stops to the shops as well. new news mums brother is in hospital from food poisoning so will have to see what happens with that scenario i am sure a visit will be on the cards once he is out. till then.
be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all
It is now time for a nana nap followed by coffee and then to see what to make for dinner.

matina, what a day! Hope you can have a rest now. You've been working very, very hard. Hope your uncle recovers soon.

My fuzzies enjoyed a nice (and expensive) dinner, with real 'people sardines.' The two sisters are getting along better and better these day.

Good night, everyone . . .

matina, hope you can have a restful Sunday. What you go through . . . you're a saint. Anyhow, it all comes back to us in the end (the good things, I mean).

Katy, you know, Sunnya used to seem more dominant fuzzie, but now that Rishi has been on steroids . . . they're probably about even. Sunnya would always like to play more and Rishi just used to hiss and give her a bat. Now, for the past week, they've actually been hiding and chasing . . . first time in years. Can't believe this increased lockdown across the whole state . . . there are always a few more cars going by on Saturday and Sunday than during the week, and I noticed that today. I can only think that they're locals who live a bit further down the point. Anyhow, all is quiet now, apart from the occasional cockatoo screech. Hope you have a good day.

Sunny and up to 11 degrees now. I was sitting out in the sun again this morning and it was quite pleasant due to the lack of wind. Sunnya was out in the backyard with me, checking for frogs and bugs and watching the birds. I also fed my cockies but they've nearly finished everything now and are scrutinising me through the window.

A bit more paperwork this afternoon and then I've set myself the task of sharpening all my knives and scissors. I bought a nifty little sharpener for knives with serrated edges and am going to try it out. Might take a little walk too.

If I weren't taking the picture, I'd be right behind that window!

matina, good to hear your news today. Glad you got some 'odd jobs' done. But so sorry about your uncle. Hoping that he can soon be fixed up. I know people who have had keyhole surgery and it heals relatively quickly compared to ordinary surgery. Just talked to my own longtime friend in the hospital and, after more than two weeks there (having already lost his lower right leg), he's now looking at another two weeks. But he's been out of the ICU for three days, which is good news. Nice sunny afternoon up in the mountains, so I took a little walk in the bush across the street from my house.

Good night, everyone . . .

matina, glad you like my camelia, which is growing just outside my front door. I always have nice, red ones during the winter. What are you doing today? 11 degrees and a bit breezy up here today, but I managed to sit out in my backyard for a while, and got some sun. Now getting ready for my Zoom tutoring this afternoon, for my year 12 student in West Pennant Hills, quite near where I lived for more than 30 years. Later I'll ring my friend in the hospital.

Katy, photos included here from yesterday's walk across the street. I went out at 'dog walking time' and saw a few distant neighbours enjoying some exercise. Sunday is usually the 'busiest' day in this neighbourhood, but of course there were no tourists and only a scattering of locals and their puppies. Hope you're well. Gardening sounds like a great idea, but I'm going to try to clean up my driveway first. Towards the end of the winter I might get two young locals to mow my tiny lawns and tidy up a bit.

Greetings to all our CC&BC friends. Would be great to hear from you.

HELLO ALL!
SO SORRY for my late post but i am still busy at it. it is top up friends hard drives with their favourite tv shows day a lot of the oldies are coming back re-mastered like the original wonder woman etc Charlie's angels x files so they are in demand as they are all my age and older and want to see them again. i recently found alf and i am so wanting to get stuck into that again all time classic back when being politically incorrect was awesome fun! and people had what is called a sense of humour.
Am i showing my age? i don't care i loved it his classic BLT sandwich was bacon lucky and tomato lucky being the cat. LOL!!!
Kathy good luck with the gardening. i hope you got some nice plants send us a pick when they arrive!
PJ you too with cleaning the driveway. yes Satan has always been this way even before the dementia came into the picture now it is 100 times worse. I don't know how much longer i can take this.
tomorrow is massage day/followed by home day being a sloth on the couch day and i dare anyone to try and get me off it! GROWWWL!!
well that is all from me. time to go entertain mother as her home and away has ended.(lord help me)
