Good morning Pj now that photo of the cockatoos is brilliant it's worthy of a magazine cover really really good 10c did you see any snow in the mountains Hmm my granddaughters art assignment, abstract maybe she does love art and is quite good at drawing Matina its definitely a soup day I'd love some of your homemade , heck i wish I was with you cooking tho I'd be observing ,you like your pots without burnt marks hugs always take care everyone

matina, hope you and your mother are both feeling well today. Unfortunately, I didn't get any snow overnight, up here in the mountains, I so can't send you the snowy photo I know you'd like! Am so relieved that Rishi's blood iron reading yesterday actually went up to 42% (as against 40 a month ago) even though her steroids were reduced. This is high normal. Now the meds will be reduced even more, for another two months. Her weight has remained stable and she's acting quite well, eating well, and sometimes even playing with her sister.

Katy, thanks for the picture of your granddaughter's art assignment. Very interesting! Maybe she has a promising art-related career ahead of her. Photo above shows one of my cockatoos hanging around the QR code sign at the new takeaway pizza place on Leura Mall. I couldn't resist this photo. 'Pizza Sublime' is actually the only business I've ever known that has opened up in the middle of the pandemic. I signed up for their e-mails and was offered free delivery, so I tried it out. Quite different pizzas from Domino's in Katoomba. Very high winds up here yesterday, and very cold and rainy, but it's warmed up (slightly) today and the sun has come out.

HELLO ALL!
What i thought was going to be a nice relaxing day has turned into a cookathon I made mince meat and vegetable soup and mum made mince meat vegetable rissole patties. the cleaner came and cleaned the floors etc now i am busy transferring files to a hard drive then banking and tomorrow off to the hair dressers.
Kathy after we teach you no more burn pans or pots. GRANDAUGHTERS PAINTING IS AWESOME VERY TALENTED!
PJ great news on Rishi i hope she continues to thrive. those cockies i swear what with your all you can eat buffet and then the local pizza joint no wonder they have canckles and no neck to speak of
time to get a move on the day is almost done and i haven't done any of the things i need to do.

Hi Pj you know that evil sentinel cocky gets around, he's full of muscle maybe the pizza place can use him to deliver the wind has stopped thank god a few large gum tree branches came down, we saw the Ses volunteers using chain saws as they were blocking the road out Good people and they were wearing masks 20c sunny outside so coffee out back today I hope you are doing ok Pj good news on rishi it seems she's holding her own now bless her gorgeous self Matina ahh hairdressers what's that like there's a lot of hairy people around here not a pretty sight my hair hasn't been this long since I was a teenager enjoy be safe out there diva mwah

Rishi is looking good today. She slept under the covers last night. Sunnya is curled up in one of the tub chairs as I write . . . having a mid-afternoon nap. Hair? Am getting ready to consider a ponytail again . . . back to 1969 . . .

matina, glad to hear you had good news and a good day. I thought Katy's pizza delivery idea was great, apart from that one drawback. Rishi is sleeping on my shins right now, which is very nice on a cool evening.

Katy, hmmmmm. I'll keep watching that 'man bun' video and see if I can work it out. Sure would be a new look for me! Up to 6 degrees now and I was out in the backyard sunshine earlier today . . . a bit cool and breezy but OK right in the direct sun.

My various 'back deck birds' (magpies, currawongs and kookaburras) watch me through the kitchen window, while waiting for the leftover cat food. This one scrutinised me so closely that I had to feed him immediately . . . Cockies have already finished off the front deck seeds . . .

Um Pj I hate to say it but out of all the birds you've posted that black one is really creepy i mean I'm going peck your eyes out kind of evil if you don't give up the seed, creepy I think it maybe possessed im reading too many paranormal books gives me the shivers lock your balcony door very windy 17c, hope your ok today Matina all OK here getting a drive by visit from my daughter to drop off some meat, she just puts it on our verandah and we wave from the door hugs always
