Katy, all well here. Fuzzies seem to be just fine. Sunnya will eventually start reducing her steroid, as is Rishi. Both have good appetites. Yes, late nights aren't what they used to be . . . Never thought I'd be taking seven legal drugs every day. Oh well, I'm still alive. Hope your Christmas shopping on a scooter goes well! Let us know.

PJ Physio went OK for me, but mum's x rays showed she has a narrowing of the disc joints in c2 and c3 and c4 and c5 really not much they can do for her maybe a cortisone injection in those areas may help. so sad news there. ;-(
time to relax always feel tired after going out the weather is so temperamental of late and i feel it BIG TIME!

Hi Pj aw rishi you could just kiss that little nose tho she'd probably not be too impressed with that well you can tell it's Xmas the shops are very crowded, which I didn't like much Xmas trees and decorations on every surface very pretty with all the colours and lights 18c rain and cold I wonder if you'll need your fire going it's usually colder for you enjoy your Sunday matina i did have the advantage of the scooter people tended to scatter when they saw me coming, I did however back into a cardboard sign and knock it over damn reverse and forward on these things easy to mix up bec saved the thing before any damage done i just kept going we did get the kids some clothes and games for their various devices so all in all not a bad day exhausting sorry to hear about mums back painful i know ,let's pray cortisone gives her some relief atleast a quiet day on the couch

matina, how are you going? Home day today? Cool and rainy up here. I turned on the central heating and Sunnya immediately headed for the nearest heating vent. This led me to use a bit of my remaining firewood to start a little fire in the fireplace for her. (Rishi is still sleeping in.) Hope your mother feels better today.

Katy, what fun with your scooter! I've had a driver's licence for 57 years but have never driven one of those! I might be a danger to the general public. Yes, as you guessed, it's got quite cool up here again, and this isn't all that unusually in November. This month can go either way. Am only feeding the cockies once a day now . . . my latest resolution. I just couldn't keep up with them. Hope you have a good Sunday!

Forgot to mention, had a nice, long talk with my scientist son yesterday afternoon. He's still up on North Stradbroke Island but will be home for a few days. In the near future his koala rescue team will cross over in the NSW and later maybe even travel down to the Snowies. Am wondering if I can encourage him to stop by in the Blue Mountains and visit me.

It has been a pleasant enough day so far got some last minute shopping to do tomorrow morning then i am done got to write a few xmas cards and then i am all set. because knowing my luck the hot weather isn't that far away and i DO NOT want to get caught up in that!
trying to find a missing in action usb and it is frustrating the hell out of me. this time of year mum goes into overdrive cleaning and putting stuff in draws she doesn't remember putting them in GROWL!!!~ doesn't matter how many times i tell her to leave my stuff alone, she is like taz the cartoon character
well time for a cup of tea and to relax.
PJ nice pictures as usual but i love that one of rishi super cute! at last you got the memo about the cockies eating you out of house and home

matina, here's a photo of one of my Buddhas. It's hard to get photos of Rishi and Sunnya with their eyes wide open. They tend to close them when I try to take pictures of them. That was one of my favourite shots of Rishi. Hope your day has gone well.

Ahh matina I love the tazzie devil yep I can picture your mum doing that, bet she wishes she was as fast as that my daughter usually gets in front of me when I'm on the scooter she kinda clears the way Hi Pj the first time I used the electric scooter it took off they can go fairly quick , we then realised you can dial the speed down so as not to collect people if they don't move it is funny the look on their faces when your heading straight for them and not sure how to stop anyway I finally worked out the controls and with my legs so sore it gives me the freedom to browse in the shops when I would otherwise sit outside it would be lovely if your son could visit now restrictions are gone I hope so cleaning day today the rain has eased up still nice n cool hello to our regulars and lurkers be safe god bless

shopping day for xmas stuff, got home and the council is resurfacing our street, GROWL you would thing that they would wait till after xmas. sheesh barley made it home in time before the chocolates started to melt it is only 24 degrees but the sun is out and that number quickly rises when one is in the car. I splurged and got a bottle of green ginger wine for myself It may be finished before xmas even gets here.
tomorrow we will have no power from 8am till the afternoon. so i will only have my phone.
Kathy i have yet to get enough courage to use a scooter I'm too scared of the damage i may cause to myself and others
PJ your Buddha looks like it could use a little sprucing up with some limestone
time to relax but there is so much noise outside it is driving me nuts.
time for a cup of tea and to watch a few things as we wont be able to tomorrow with no power i have charged my power banks to run my mini air conditioner and my phone and tablet and my laptop is good to go too but it wont last long it is an old one the most i can get out of the battery is half an hour;-(

Hi, everyone . . . I'm a bit late today. Had to go over to the post office and my lawn mowing guy's team was here, doing some heavy-duty cleaning up for me in the backyard. They also cleaned my driveway and front veranda. Looks great!

Photo today was taken at my 'free spring' at North Leura. People are leaving little stones and crystals and other trinklets as a thank you. It's like 1969 all over again!

matina, I checked with the Buddha and he doesn't care. He says getting old and stained and wrinkled is just part of life and not to worry about it. (He might actually have misunderstood my question and was talking about me.) Glad you got your Christmas shopping done. On our street they come by once a year with heavy equipment and fill in the same dozen potholes. Takes them less than an hour and scares my fuzzies. Sorry to hear you'll lose your electricity . . . that's always a worry for me. But hasn't happened lately.

Katy, I'm still laughing about your scooter! I know what you mean. When I'm out and about I usually keep an eye open for benches and chairs, etc. Leura is probably a bit too steep for easy scooter use, but I'd give it a try. Yes, I'm really hoping that the koala team will go as far south of the Snowies and that my son will be able to stop by. Sure would be my best Christmas present.

YES PJ I agree mostly with what buddah had to say but it is the paint that makes us a little more presentable these days. otherwise i am all for the rugged more distinguished look;-) i am waiting for a hiss and ride update so i can leave this computer and then go to my laptop it is very sluggish in uploading pictures ;-(

matina, what are you doing today? Hope it's a quiet home day for you. Rainy up here and I've been watching a family of ravens out back . . . a pair plus a 'baby' -- they're really big. Couldn't get a good photo so far. I've seen ravens locally in the past, but it's not common for them to come near the back deck. The squawking 'baby' is as big as a currawong.

Katy, am heading over to Katoomba after 3 pm for what I hope is my last eye check for a while. I've been off the Xalatan drops for three weeks and will be having an eye pressure check to see if my pressure has gone up over that time. Would be great to have one less medication to take. Just checked Rishi's eyes for something that looked odd, but it was just what I call 'goop' . . . a bit of mucus that Persians are prone to, once in a while. Both fuzzies seem quite OK now. Yes, I've had to cut back on the cockie feeding. It was really getting out of hand. I also read a few articles about birds in the Blue Mountains and this confirmed my decision.

A QUIET DAY THEY SAY! well no power from 8am to 4 pm. so i sat down wrote xmas cards by lantern and then divvied up wine bottle chocolates etc etc and wrote on the back of some calender's i just managed to get it all done then the power came on. time for me to post in all threads and then relax on the couch with a cup of tea.
PJ you didn't tell us what the article was saying about the cockies (could it be me and your son were right by chance that your not doing them any favours by feeding them and then they cant forage for themselves or that the bird seed you are giving them is not good for them? ray do tell!!
Kathy i was prepared i had the ice stocked up for today to keep our drinks cold but the humidity is stifling! i kept mother busy handing me wine bags for the bottles of wine and gift bags for those we were giving gifts for etc. then she went to have a nana nap while i did the hard yakka of writing all the cards and calender's, she made lunch we had lunch she had another nana nap and i finished up the rest.
