matina, another cool and cloudy day up here . . . gave the (limited) daily feed to 'my' cockies (above) and am now once again watching for marauding thunderstorms with my trust radar software. Have the central heating on because it's only 12 degrees outside. Hope all is OK at your house. I might pop over to Leura Mall just before 5 pm to check my mail and pick up a few perishables. Not an exciting day, but fine with me!

Katy, we've had a bit of rain too, but nothing torrential. I checked the label on my special catnip and apparently it's 100% legal, at least for cats. Sunnya in particular has really worn herself out over the past couple of days. Even Rishi has been racing around more than usual. My guess is that it interacts with the steroids (both fuzzies are still gradually reducing their doses) and leads to crazy episodes. Will have to ask Lisa the vet! I hope I don't have any more medical appointments that require negative PCR tests. Would really not want to wait hours in the Katoomba Hospital car park. Over the past year or more the government has successfully panicked the entire population . . . whether deliberately or not . . . and I wonder when we'll ever get back to normal. Fortunately, not many people are dying from this damn virus . . . Hope that continues.

- Thank you for asking! My aunt were able to call the other day (I forgot to mention that here), and that their first floor has been flooded but they're all safe. Still having a hard time communicating since the cables are still down. Aunt has to travel to the city to try to get in touch. Thank the Lord they're alright. Still needing help but they're hanging on ..

I volunteer/work for 2 rescue associations and another charity that raises funds for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. No heroism involved just lots of happy tears when things go right

Good morning Pj yes my poor neighbour is curently sitting in a que for pcr testing 4 hours she was in close contact on boxing day with a positive case who didn't isolate she's 80 very scary for her luckily we haven't had any contact with her since before Xmas the fuzzies certainly enjoyed their Xmas I just love hearing about their antics I hope your doing well Pj matina look after yourself relax if you can thinking of you
