HELLO ALL!
GP came last night lung is clear but i have bronchitis so switched antibiotics and on another round of steroids for a week and then will go see him again. It should clear up feeling better already,;-) praying this continues.
We had a nice lunch out at the pub long awaited great to blow off 4 weeks of cabin fever!
PJ beautiful pictures and and look and those beautiful slender ankles that cockle has now, no more cankles!
Kathy your poor daughter works far too hard and the heart wrenching stories that go with those claims
hello to all the regulars and not so regulars god bless and be with you all thank you for the good wishes and prayers.
time to think on dinner and after a few errands am exhausted day 1 out and about and not 100% I feel like i am ready to crash.

Found a couple of azaleas in my backyard this afternoon . . .

Good to hear that news, matina. Hope the new antibiotics work fast. Drove over to the PO today and enjoyed the return of the sunshine. Fuzzies are doing well. I keep a very close eye on Rishi. She's due for her regular checkup and blood test on Tuesday. Am hoping that her anemia has been cured and that she can go off the steroids for good.

Good morning Pj and matina I'm off to shop for linen, sheets, towels ect I told my hubby who walks a hundred miles an hour while I'm like the turtle just go ahead I'll catch up he'll have the shopping done packed while I'm still getting out of the car oh well that's arthritic joints for you No I shouldn't bag him he does wait for me anyhoo matina good to hear your gp turned up but god that damn flu injection certainly did nothing for you keep getting better rest when your home hugs always Pj all the best love to the fuzzies take care everyone

matina, hope your recovery is continuing and that you had a good night's sleep. Any plans for the weekend? Have fed my birds and also had a sit out in the sun . . . quite warm today (18 degrees) and kind of like an 'Indian Summer' . . . Sunnya has been enjoying snooping around the garden. (Rishi is sleeping in, under the covers.)

Katy, I'm not too fast on my feet anymore. I used to be known as a pretty rapid bushwalker . . . but I think to myself, at least I can walk! I try to make my local circuit of almost 3.5 km every day (just over 2 miles) along the edges of the National Park. Might get out and about this afternoon, while the sunny weather lasts.

Hoping to hear from some of our CC&BC friends soon. What are you all doing?

feeling better and today i have had 3 coughs slept like a baby except for the damn humidity this is not winter I WANT A REFUND!!!
PJ well done you do that while Kathy and i wait for you on your front deck with coffee and cake as we cant do the 3.5 meters let alone 3.5 kms arthritic joints and swollen feet yeah so not happening i envy you so much however i will give you a run for your money in a scooter Kathy may be on board with that too
we went out ran a few errands visited my aunty and then I got into it with chemist warehouse for not providing a receipt with our click and collect order saying its on line and to print it out i said no i am not leaving the store without and itemized receipt for the items in my bag it is the law it protects me and you. so i waited 15 minutes to get one, the order was for my mum and we needed the receipt so we can submit it in to her home-care package to get it reimbursed.
time to do some reading and a cup of coffee and relax

Matina I'm in with the scooter you and I can terrorise the public much like I do when I use one at the shopping centre people get outta the way real quick when they see me coming let alone 2 of us enjoy your lunch Hi Pj it's good that you still keep up your walks even slowly exercise for you is very important, my hubby loves to go for a walk around our area the scenery is not as beautifulas the mountains, but he does manage to talk to some of the vege farmers still growing here and sometimes comes home with a bag of carrots or lettuce zucchini last time he went out such lovely people all quiet here 26 a bit humid

matina, hope you enjoyed your Sunday pub lunch today. So glad you're feeling better. 15 degrees and cloudy up here . . . had a little sprinkle this morning, but it didn't last long.

Katy, I don't walk fast but I do walk . . . should probably work up to twice a day. It's not like I don't have the time. Meeting people, both locals and tourists, is always fun. Many neighbours are out and about walking their dogs, so I always tell them about Rishi and Sunnya and how they don't believe in taking walks! I'm thinking of walking down to the end of Sublime Point this afternoon.

matina, glad you got out today for your pub lunch. I was also enjoying an outing this afternoon. . . walking down to the Sublime Point Lookout and back home again . . . 2.5 km return trip. There was a small group of young people gathered there, and some were laughing and celebrating because a guy had proposed to his girlfriend and she'd accepted. She was holding a big bouquet of roses and their friends were holding balloons. So I congratulated them and then left them to their celebrations. Such a beautiful . . . spectacular . . . place for a proposal.

Good morning Pj Coffee is life first thing in the morning I'm enjoying a cup in the sun for once aw how lovely a proposal great view i bet he's glad she said yes , I meant to tell you about my daughters next door neighbour who's ragdoll cat is deaf, when we were over there last I saw the lady with a dog lead on the other end was the cat walking as happy as you please not looking anxious at all maybe you should try it with sunnya she's adventurous are you all ok Matina your sounding husky still but I'm glad your on the end of this now to get your energy back hugs from us, I have to go and pick up some school shoes for the teenage boy he's going thru a couple of pairs every 3 months big giant foot God bless everyone

PJ oh how nice i wish them luck. your so lucky to be able to walk that far.
I am getting better but i think i will still need another round of antibiotics, I am starting to feel more like myself and yes the voice is starting to come back slowly but surely.
Tomorrow we are looking at mum's recliner at aidacare with the O.T because they want to fleece some money out of us too. Wednesday cleaner and another visit from the OT to oversee a new company's quote for possible bathroom renovations. This is for the advisor and the OT to siphon off more money and no bathroom renovations. yet they have been here measured taken pictures before etc etc etc but still on the merry go round.
time for coffee and more medication

Hey everyone

Pj are you ok, you haven't overdone things I hope, like moving firewood hmm, please look after yourself , is rishis vet appt today let us know I'm sure she's doing well you'd have it no other way she looks good in the photo but no eyes open well we have no water till 3pm the water board is doing maintenance on the mains pipes apparently its leaking, small price to pay when you see what happens when the pipes burst my coffee maker is ready with water that's important I have back up bottles of water matina don't bite the OT Good luck I hope they're better than the last lot , it seems the only ones who benefit from the age and ndis packages are the ones who are supposed to help take care everyone

matina, you have a lot on your plate over the next couple of days. Hope it all goes well and that your coughing is gone for good. Sun continues to shine up here and I spent some time out in the backyard with Sunnya. Veggies were delivered at 12 noon.

Katy, yes, I'm feeling better today. I don't think I slept well the other night . . . or something. But I seem to have bounced back. I still wonder if my various meds are causing some problems. Getting ready to take Rishi over to the vet at 4 pm. She looks pretty good today. Hope your water is back soon!

we had a good day out running errands this OT seems a lot better than the last one. mum will be getting her new recliner just a matter of having it made up now. tomorrows visit is another bathroom quote! still ongoing.
very tired and exhausted time for coffee and biscuits.
where have all our cosy cafe folks gone? come on people post it isn't that hard, I know it isn't a competition any more but still it is a place to just have a word a gripe ask for help advice etc If you don't post then the powers that be may just close the thread altogether.
