HELLO ALL!
PJ beautiful pics as always I mean to say the buses you posted above looks like an extended hummer, we don't have those types here a bus here are what most folks call coaches. certainly very different things. thank you for your email I am so sorry to hear of all your woes hoping you get the change you need from the new meds and at least 1 less than you had so some progress is being made hoping this continues.
KATHY so sorry to hear your on school pick up duty i hate the traffic at that time of day (simply because most parents these days are drunk or high as kites) the way they drive is, well lets just say a lot left to be desired. be safe while your out there.
podiatrist appointments wen well however the lady who booked my physio appointment booked it with the wrong physiotherapist so i am not happy about that and so i didn't get to see my physio and i didn't want to see the other one as i didn't want to pay for a larger consult to bring him /her up to par with my file etc which is quite extensive leaves little time left for actual treatment.
Snowy had his last arthritis injection shot today this nurse a new one hurt him (all the other shots he didn't even feel) but he squealed out in pain the poor darling on this last one she said sorry but snowy wasn't having a bar of it he wanted out!
we are home now and trying to enjoy the cooler weather but it is a bit of a mixed blessing as the humidity is 85% SO NOT HAPPY BUT BETTER THAN THE 33 DEGREES WE HAD A TOP OF 23 TODAY
be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all.

Another view (above) from yesterday's walk . . . across the road from my house . . .

matina, hope you can rest today. Will write more later. Am waiting 5-7 days to see what is going to happen to me, med-wise.

Katy, for many years I knew an elderly woman who lived up here in the mountains. She's passed away now, God bless her. She used to drive around very slowly, and locals called the phenomenon, 'The car with no driver.' She was so short and small that she was invisible from outside the car! One night her car broke down. She got out and slowly walked home, finally arriving at 3 am. With no keys and no mobile phone, she knocked on the neighbour's door and they found a way to get her into her house. Her daughter discovered her sleeping soundly on the living room couch the next day and confiscated both her car keys and car. I've checked and I think I can go until age 85 until I have to take a special driving test. Unless my son arrives and takes away my keys and my car! Hope your granddaughter has her screen fixed. That should be an easy repair at any Apple outlet.

Bye for now, everyone.

HELLO ALL!
PJ goodluck with the new meds hoping it turns out ok for you. nice pic as always, ahhh yes the Mr Magoo drivers lol   made me chuckle yes i am certainly showing my age Image    great memories! thank you for that    made my day
KATHY OMG :o  :o that will be a pricey repair indeed :? :( :( :( I hope it isn't but after it falling on the tiled floor i am sure it now will have other issues pity your daughter wont claim it under home and contents insurance as it was an accident (obviously depending on how much the excess is) wishing you all a pleasant outcome.
I have been busy cooking today and getting insurance quote too now awaiting paperwork and then i will see which is better value and price. hectic day it was cooler i had planned on using it to rest and read ahhh but alas the never ending work ethic of elderly parents insurance for Satan and mothers surprise bombarding me to make a zucchini slice  :? there goes my pleasant day :( :(
maybe tomorrow????
time to rest before dinner. Be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all always

matina, yes, I've had a couple of older friends/acquaintances whose driving has worried me. I've had my own driver's licence for 57 years now . . . hard to believe. Worst place to drive? For me, 1st was London and 2nd was San Francisco. Sydney isn't all that great these days, but I haven't driven there for years now. Driving in the Blue Mountains is usually quite easy and stress-free.

Good night, everyone . . .

matina, have been thinking of my father over the past day . . . Remembrance Day or Veterans Day. When my father fought in WWII, he was younger than my grandson is now. Hard for me to believe.

Katy, warmish up here in the mountains today . . . cloudy but no rain. Sat out in the backyard with Sunnya for a while. Forecast says that sunshine will return on Tuesday. Hope you have a good weekend with your family.

Fatima, thanks so much for the latest pupper pictures! So wonderful to think that all will find good homes. Keep up the good work!

dante, hope you're feeling better today. There are a lot of beautiful flowers around Leura now. Spring is really here.

Bye for now, everyone . . .

matina, hope your electricity is back now. Can't think of a worse disruption to my own hum-drum life. We don't seem to have encountered the thunderstorm that hit Katy. A bit of rain on and off this morning, but then enough sun for Sunnya and me to sit out in the backyard for a while.

Katy, all quiet up here in the mountains . . . cloudy, a shower or two, a little breeze . . . Fuzzies are fine. 4 days since my medication changes, so I'm watching for a reduction in my side effects. But it might take a week or two. Trust you're enjoying your family this weekend. My own granddaughter flew down to Melbourne for a horse-related event.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Bye for now . . .

HELLO ALL!
THE WOLF IS BACK!!!
@DANTE 11 WELCOME TO THE COSY CAFE! ;-) I certainly know all about chronic pain so i can completely empathise with you, wishing you a speedy recovery if it is short term if long term then i wish you strength to endure faith to cope and hope to keep you going, and great painkillers to help you as much as possible. god bless you.
@FATIMA OH THOSE GORGEOUS FACES PUPPERS!!! LOVE THEM! what gorgeous exquisite eyes Thibault has. THANK YOU! for posting them TYGER looks gorgeous too poor woody baby does look a frightened little fellow hugging him heaps, i am sure they will all get snapped up quickly.
@PJ nice pictures as always, hoping your new meds make a difference for you and you get the relief you need and that they bring down your BP
@KATHY we got power back on at 5am this morning after it went out on Saturday at 4pm, nearly killed mother as if she hasn't got tv she just cant occupy herself this from her generation that grew up with no electricity i told her you should be telling me how to cope without it not the other way around. she spent that time in bed and moaning and groaning walking around the house like a petulant moody angry teenager. Me i was good had my e reader & several solar power banks and solar charging lanterns too i was set our only worry was the freezer the chest freezer was fine all the ice in there kept things froze it was the other freezer where we keep the frozen vegetables pies butter ice-cream et chad to throw out 2 tubs of ice-cream. A friend from Salisbury turned up with a newly bought second hand generator from mount compass and brought it around and with a few extension cords and a power board we were able to connect up all 3 fridge and freezers to it including the tv worked like a charm till 12pm when we turned off the generator as the noise would be pissing the neighbours off. so we saved most all our stuff thanks to them. At least sa power networks asked some NSW personnel to help us out by coming in to help restore power and at least it came on this morning many are still without power as they were saying we would get power back on well into Tuesday.
time to get things done that couldn't without power. see you all later
god bless and be with you all
