HELLO ALL!
SNOWY over exerted himself whilst trying to remove his basket out of his palatial tent while we were away and now he may have a disc bulge.we are all hoping it is just muscular spasms, his highness is now doped to the hilt has to be carried everywhere (so as not to re-strain anything) to see if he improves if no change over the weekend then we are looking at a specialist consult for a catscan as this is the only way to detect disc bulges. we are monitoring him to see if he uses his head correctly with no twitches as that could mean nerve damage and prognosis of that is not good at all.
we have our hairdressing appointment tomorrow and we have to take him with us as he cant be left alone. we have cleared it with her since she works from home so this is what we are enduring now 3 sleepless nights and days full of pampering and carrying his royal highness everywhere. not to mention a $200 vet bill as a very merry xmas present which we pray is the end of it.
one of the medications is a capsule that i am supposed to open up and halve the contents and administer half of said contents with milk via a syringe so now the kitchen table looks like a mini drug lab! If it wasn't so serious i would be laughing my ass off.
so signing off now as we are catching snowy naps as he does (like having a newborn in the house)
PJ hope your GP appointment goes well and your test results are what you hoped for please keep us updated be safe.
KATHY oh my lord i haven't had sherry in years my go to drink these days in stones green ginger wine with sugar free lemonade on ice very refreshing! I HAVE RUN OUT OF LEMONADE! (so i am drinking it straight now) ;-)
be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all
WOLF WELL AND TRULY OUT! (i may need to start a snowy go fund me page)

Footpath flowers near my medical centre . . .

matina, so sorry to hear about Snowy's latest troubles. Hope it turns out to be muscular spasms or something minor. I've been there and done that, so I know exactly how you feel. Am so grateful that my fuzzies seem to be doing well. Please keep us posted. Hope you can still have a good hairdressing appointment tomorrow.

Long story about my GP visit this afternoon. Short version . . . the good news is that the two somewhat unusual possible conditions didn't turn up on my tests. Not such good news is that my only alternative now (while waiting for my February second urologist opinion) is to see a kidney specialist down in Penrith. So will make that appointment tomorrow and expect that I'll have to wait until Feb. for that one. Also, have to have another blood test. So that's that for my medical report . . . will try to stay optimistic. Rishi greeted me when I came home and joined me for a nap. Feel better now.

Quiet evening ahead for me. Will brief my son on the med results and see how he's doing.

hello all!
SNOWY had to be euthanized this morning at 8;30am he was paralyzed from a disc bulge and because of his pre existing heart issues surgery wasn't recommended, he couldn't eat or drink, death rattle started at 1am from an accumulation of fluid rushed hi first thing to the vet and he was euthanized.
he just had had his 9th birthday a week and a day ago. gone far too soon and far too sudden.

Leura Mall Christmas tree above . . .

matina, sending more good wishes to you. Will write a bit more later.

Katy, yes, we love our pets and we suffer when we eventually lose them. I'm so grateful that my fuzzies are well. I've had my new Feliway diffuser plugged in for more than a week now, and the pheromone seems to help Rishi a lot. She's more active now, more friendly, and has even started going out into the backyard occasionally. She ventured out again this morning, while I was sitting on the patio with Sunnya. (At 11 degrees with no sun, it was just too cool to stay for long.) That large purple amethyst was on display at my friend Denys' crystal shop on Leura Mall on Thursday. He'd just received it. Hope you survive Costco today!

Below, yesterday's view across the street. I never get tired of it.

HELLO ALL!
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR WONDERFUL KIND LOVING MESSAGES!
KATHY PJ BOOKWORM DIVA BEAR GOD BLESS YOU ALL
how does someone so small fill up so much space in the house and in our hearts & make so much noise?
we buried him last night, devastated crushed shocked and distressed doesn't even come close to describing it all.
we told Satan this morning and his response was really? ok. then hung up. (he has loved nothing or no one)
a couple of sayings i cam across that keep me sane and telling me i am still human.
grief is the price we pay when we love.
better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
ETERNAL MEMORY DEAREST SNOW SNOW! REST IN PEACE SWEETHEART! GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN AND ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS. YOU DEFINATELY LEFT MORE THAN PAW PRINTS ON OUR HEARTS!Image
mummy and granny love you honey!

matina, more good wishes today. As Katy, writes . . . time will slowly heal. Looking forward to talking to my niece tonight. I think they had some snow on Friday and Saturday.

Katy, quite cool up here and I have the central heating on low. Yes, I was also sceptical of the Feliway pheromone but now it seems to work quite well. I can see quite a difference in Rishi's overall behaviour. Anyhow, will keep it up. She sees her vet next week and will have her standard basic blood test.

Bye for now, everyone . . .
