matina, cold and rainy today. Down to 8 degrees last night and only 11 now. Have my central heating on low. Hope you're continuing to feel a bit better. I wonder if you and your mother are over at the pub right now for lunch. Let us know.

Katy, yes! I sure did remember to set my clocks back and grab that extra hour! My visitor really wore me out. He's five years older than I am and has great trouble getting around. We had some good talks and he brought lunch but it just went on too long. And then my stomach reacted badly to the very, very rich and unfamiliar food. I paid for it after he left. However, feel better today. Will stay inside, warm and dry!

Now watching my cockatoos enjoy their lunch in the rain. The fuzzies are well.

we did go out but not for as pub lunch. the pub was getting rid of some old gaming room chairs and i went and bought one and got my cousin to bring it home for me, we then went back for mum to have a flutter and she won $100 we had a nice coffee and had a nice relaxing afternoon.
PJ so sorry to hear about your stomach reacting to the rich food hope you feel better now.
KATHY Yes i am so glad daylight saving is over with and bring on WINTER.
I am feeling better thank god i hope it continues in this direction without anymore incidents as i need to star booking in some very important appointments after the Easter break.

matina, so glad you got out and about today, bought a chair, and that your mother won $100. Wow! So you probably came out ahead. Trust that you continue to feel better this evening and can sleep well. My stomach feels pretty good and I enjoyed a normal dinner just now. Will phone my niece in less than two hours. They've continued to have snow flurries there, but nothing is really staying on the ground.

View from platform while waiting for my friend on Saturday . . .

matina, rain on and off today, but I enjoyed half an hour of sunshine out in the backyard with Sunnya. A huge flock of cockatoos arrived . . . almost too much. Might have to cut down on feeding yet again. They've cleaned up everything and all have left now. Sunnya is watching the proceedings from the windowsill, but they don't take much notice of her.

Katy, yes, that was an ice cream shop with a lobster theme, as is common in coastal Maine. Rainy and cold there too, so their mother took them out for a treat. Almost no tourists around. They arrive at the end of April and in May. My niece's husband runs two different tourist businesses . . . a hotel overlooking the ocean and bus tours around and through the National Park. Rishi does know how to snuggle up! Anyhow, both fuzzies are well and just enjoyed special treats.

Good morning Pj a kilt and a kitty great combination how are you and the fuzzies doing i gave up on laptops Pc long ago i seemed to always stuff things up i have a tablet hubby has an ipad we get done what we need with those as long as I can get my books and read I'm happy
Matina your very good with the computers I have no clue so school run this afternoon so a full day out hubby has one more blood test then we're done I'm just happy the weather is cool I can function sort of drive safe out there it's raining here so there are nutjobs everywhere Thinking of you all be happy everyone

matina, hope you're having a good day. My bushwalking friend has e-mailed me more photos from his recent walk around Mt. Victoria. We're going to meet up for coffee later this week.

Katy, thanks for the great Scottish plaid & kitten photo! I was greatly involved with computers and the internet for many years. I ran a computer bulletin board in the days before the internet. Those were the days! My son has created small, computer-driven devices for koala tracking collars and I think these have now been miniaturised for use as small ear tags. Or so I think. I can do a lot more with my PC laptop than with my Android Amazon Fire or my iPhone SE, so I mainly stick with that. I more or less know the Android and iOs computer languages but these days don't do any more experimentation. I stick with my books, etc. Hope you have a good day!

PJ i tell you when your in a rush anything and everything that can go wrong with a pc can and will not to mention printers too it is exasperating it is as if they know your up to something important and then they throw a murphy at us in every direction possible internet not connecting or endless hours of updates etc. so you are then reduced to a raving lunatic that wants/needs to reboot windows the old school way by kicking it out the blasted window!GRRROOOWWWWLLL!!!!
had a nice day today and spent some time with my aunty. however mum went shopping and was slugged $5 for celery she got 2 bunches of it as it was priced at $2.50 they charged her $10 so i just got off the phone with them at least they will reimburse us but they are like 20minute drive form us so we will go on Easter Saturday to get our money back. It is the inconvenience and the price of petrol isn't cheap at all;-(
time for a cup of tea and to relax i am feeling very exhausted and depleted cant wait to start feeling semi normal again.

Matina see computers are evil the stress alone would kill me still you are better than me i have no patience for it my grandson is a whiz with tech he amazes me at times even his father who's job is in tech ask him for help couch sitting today all appts are done Oh lord Pj I remember the old bulletin board we thought it was amazing to get messages ,news ,games etc dinasour days compared to now still I thought dial up modems were amazing
