matina, autumn has come to the Blue Mountains! Was out yesterday taking pictures, but was thwarted a bit by the rain. Today is bright and sunny, though.

Katy, hope you enjoy your trip to the markets today. I noticed yesterday that I'm very low on petrol and so might drive over to Katoomba and fill up. Might also take more autumn photos!

KATHY enjoy the shopping at the vegetable market glad you had a nice relaxing morning.
I assembled a trolley this morning then i turned on youtube and enjoyed the Easter Saturday liturgy live from Sydney and i thoroughly enjoyed in sitting in my recliner, didn't go to church this year as i was waiting for a covid test result which the lab botched u so G.P came past this afternoon and did a rats throat swab all negative so i am good to go Yogi was relentless and wouldn't stop bouncing up and down till doctor picked him up for a cuddle which he just sat in his arms very content something he doesn't even do with us he is very stranger friendly he only chews out his owners ;-( (butter wouldn't melt in his mouth) the devilish impersonator angel boy i swear!!!
raining and nice a cool i wont complain that i want it colder I hope the kids enjoyed the movie they saw

matina, Happy Easter! Have a wonderful day with your family! Windy and fairly cold up here, but the sun has just emerged. Rishi joined Sunnya and me in the backyard for a while . . . very unusual.

Katy, no rain here today but cold and gray all this morning. Wind makes it feel a lot colder. Will have more autumn photos soon. Glad I have my firewood in place . . . not cheap but I decided to buy the best quality this year.

Below is my favourite 'red maple' which I planted more than ten years ago and then saved, when it broke in a storm. This is its most colourful year so far.

Hi Pj when you start stacking firewood we know winters not far ahhh yes your maple looks good lots of colour this year are you feeling ok ,fuzzies happy hope so pretty quiet around here our closest neighbours are grey nomads there off on a trip around the country in their caravan so they have their son looking after the house matina say a prayer I'm attempting a loaf of bread yeah i know ambitious but hey you only live once cheating the kids gave me a bread maker so I can't possibly burn that hugs always mwah I hope everyone is happy and well

matina, hope all goes well for you and your mother this week. Sunny and cool up here. Watching the rosellas and currawongs and cockies. Then heading over for my first periodontal appointment at 4 pm.

Katy, let us know how the bread goes! I can remember being taught how to make 'no yeast' bread in a wood-fired oven, back in the 1970s. Those were the days! I knew the man who started the once-famous 'Demeter' bakery in Sydney.

Anyhow . . . taking it easy for a couple of hours.

home day again today vet visit for yogi tomorrow morning he is still getting bouts of the runs and then he has constipation need to see what vet says. he will also assess him to see if he is ready for de-sexing if he cant extend the time frame i will register as a breeder. in my opinion he is still too small for that;-) plus have had a lot of interest about him because of his unusual facial markings.
Wednesday is a home day too Thursday is free and Friday hairdressers the weekend is looking clear also next week gets very busy!
Kathy how did the bread making go??? i want a picture please. (nice kitty nice nice nice kitty oh and can i house sit for your grey nomadic neighbours??
PJ please share your no yeast bread recipe please and do you still make it?? beautiful coloured leaves pic.

Well matina as you know I have had a few problems in the kitchen let's just say the bread maker is evil takes too long too many damn buttons I have no patience for so I bought fresh sourdough from our bakery back in its box hope the vet can help yogis tummy problems poor baby kisses from aunty katy xoxo Pj there is a recipe that uses yoghurt flour salt hubby makes onion buns with it quite fluffy when baked ooh nothing like a woodfire pizza see the 70' are slowly coming back I saw a store selling flared jeans I remember mine so well they were wide long but a good 4inch stilettos kept them off the ground hmmm that's why my ankles and knees are stuffed love to the fuzzies hope your well coffee time god bless everyone hugs always

matina and Katy . . . forgot to mention that my hygienist had a cancellation and, silly me, I took it. So I have yet another cleaning session today at 3:15 . . . anesthetic, etc. The whole deal. I want to get it over with. So I wrecked my cappuccino 4:15 pm appointment with my friend. No sense in that, if you can't taste or feel anything. That's how it was yesterday.

So I'll comment on bread, yogi, etc. later today. Where I worked for so many years they had a wood-fired oven to bake bread, but I didn't bake it . . . only ate it!

Hope you both have happy afternoons . . . must get myself organised . . .

OH A glutton for punishment you are, but good on you 1 more thing off the to be done list. have several and i will get 1 off the list next week the vision field test, still have breast screen and bowel screen to do ;-(GROWL!!! still awaiting blood test results from last Thursday ;-(
KATHY YOU made me laugh out loud i loved that Muppet chef! he was hilarious him and animal were a hoot!!! oh and the old farts at the end of the show on the balcony lol

matina, sorry to hear that yogi couldn't see his vet today. You know what I mean about getting the various tests and screens over and done with. I'm back from my second 'periodontal debridement' session and now have only three more appointments to go. But I'll wait until next month. My hygienist says that my teeth are cleaning up easier and better than she expected. I have to see the dentist on May 2nd and he'll give an opinion on my wisdom teeth. (I still have 27 of my teeth remaining.) Hope you're having a peaceful evening.

Katy, I haven't baked bread since 1974! Fresh sourdough from the local bakery would be the way to go for me!

Rishi is currently sleeping on my knees, while I type . . .
