Katy, what a bird! Nope, I don't think I want that one on my front deck. Only a few rosellas arrived today. Cockies don't seem to come when it's windy, and today it's really blowing a gale. Feels like the coldest day of the winter, but not by the thermometer. Have the central heating going.

Morning Pj are you feeling better today We've got those ibis birds or bin chickens as they call them they graze in the farmland normally but talk about cockies raiding garbage bins these birds are experts even a brick on the lid doesn't stop them and they are bigger not even dogs scare them i was just watching the gardeners shooing them away with a broom stupid bird just stood there matina home today I've just about given up on a lounge nothing out there that's worth it kids off to.the movies today I'm couch potato

Katy, what a nice-looking Sunday brunch! I can't even remember where my crystal ball came from, so many years ago. Might have been cheap back then. So windy up here . . . 9 degrees now, but feels much colder. Couldn't really sit out in the sun this morning. Enjoy your day!

PJ no pub lunch but went for a coffee then home although mum isn't feeling so great i think she ha a chest infection no sore throat or runny nose just a dry cough which i think is trying to get rid of any sinus discharge that has filled the lung so i am now going to start her on biosolvin and antibiotics i cant afford to let it turn into pneumonia. my aunty is as we speak being taken to hospital she is having a lot of leg pain and inner pelvic pain so it is crappy day all around for all of us.
time for a cup of tea and to start forcing the temper tantrum 75 year old to take her medicine Satan' acat assessment is on Friday morning so hoping this one is feeling better by then

Hi matina poor mum you two just can't cut it everyone has got some sort of flu the kids are coughing runny noses temps Your on top of things with your mum you always are the damn coughing is the worst makes everything sore, maybe some Vicks steam Love to you both Pj aw sunnya is in the right place snuggled up in her bed it's gale force winds here are you getting any snow flakes it feels like its snowing somewhere are you feeling better today no more dental visits I hope

functioning on limited sleep mother coughing up a storm worried about her hernia. she has no fever no runny nose no sore throat except now from all the coughing. she tested negative for covid. dr coming tonight to check her out.
PJ hope you are ok and feeling better as days go by.
KATHY hope the kids and grandkids start feeling better too be safe and look after yourself you don't want to catch it.
time to relax doing the same tomorrow and Wednesday before we have podiatry appointment Thursday and Satan's acat assessment Friday.

Katy, hope your family gets better too. Sending good wishes. I feel lucky to be doing as well as I am. We lost our electricity today, for 5 hours, when Endeavour Energy did some urgent repair work. It was such a good feeling to have power again.

Have been over to the chemist for some meds and then had a nice nap. So I'm running late today.

Morning Pj I was beginning to worry when you hadn't popped in by late afternoon I thought maybe the winds had knocked out the power, we had a few near misses but our power only went off for a few minute's well they've released the flight paths for the Western Sydney Airport it's seems the mountains are in the thick of it, Penrith, as well will get the most fly overs you might be waving at passengers as they fly over the Jamieson Valley hmm its a hot topic today Matina sorry to hear mums not well we love winter bur not the sickness that comes with it, love and healing prayers to you both coffee time

Katy, I'm back on schedule this morning. Central heating going! Ordered more firewood for Thursday delivery. I've also been studying the proposed flight paths for the new airport, and it appears that at least they're avoiding Katoomba . . . across Jamison Valley to the south of my house, and also north to the east of Katoomba, also not right over my house. Well, we shall see. Many people around here are very, very concerned about 24/7 air traffic. I guess everyone down your way is going to find it all a big change . . .

MUM had another disastrous night to make matters worse i am now coughing too this will be my 3rd night without sleep if this status quo continues.
