Good luck, matina! I haven't done much experimenting with hardware over the past few years. Back in the 90s I was adding hard drives, cards, etc., all the time. Am about due for a new laptop. I know the specifications I want, but can't yet find the right model. 1 TB SSD and an SD card slot are the stumbling blocks. Actually, I just want a newer version of the ASUS I have now, with a perfectly working keyboard and a good battery.

Katy, so glad to hear that your granddaughter enjoyed the art gallery. I used to hang out with all the artists, back in the 70s and early 80s, my poetry-writing days, due to my friendship with Max Miller. I still know a few. Sadly, many have passed away.

Good morning Pj hmm you certainly have had an interesting life, writing poetry road trip in Afghanistan just wonderful, you should write your memoirs I'd be interested don't despair keep positive you've come so far from your heart surgery maybe your body just needs some fine tuning always cuddle the fuzzies the best medicine in the world it looks like some rain about the next few days matina did the desktop survive or better yet did you I have no doubt you will get it upgraded if you can good luck mwah enjoy your Sunday all

matina, hope you're feeling better today. Going out? I think you said that you're giving up the Sunday pub lunches. Light-headed today after a less-than-average sleep. Taking it easy. Gray skies and we may get some rain later today and tomorrow. Visitors from Germany are due to come on Tuesday . . . a guy I used to work with in the late 1970s and his German wife. Has lived there for 40 years and raised a family.

Katy, I think I already told Diva about my time at the Sri Aurobindo Asham in southern Inda. I still have a NZ friend there. Those were the days! My son wants me to dictate my memoirs. Might do it someday. There are parts I would have to leave out, though! Hope you're enjoying your weekend with your family.

we visited my aunt and went to the pub for a coffee caught up with some friend so it was nice to blow the cobwebs away, however mum wasnt feeling well so we left after an hour.
PJ we all need all the fairies and unicorns we can get. not to mention all the angelic help too.
KATHY well i don't see any books ;-? as for the desktop computer upgrade i am still trying to find a portable boot up version of windows 10 so i can boot up from a usb or dvd (if anyone ha one or can point to to where i can download one please feel free to let me know pm me) so far i have had no luck so until i can score something like that it will remain an XP version. hoping my techy friend recovers from his long covid to help me out. hes been sick for 3 years now poor man.
well time to relax on the couch had little to no sleep our neighbors son had his 18th birthday party last night. the music was the doof doof kind hardly any lyrics ;-? so it may be an early night tonight thinking on what to have for dinner. very tired and ribs hurt from driving but getting better now it is mostly night time that they hurt.

matina, hope you're well today. I woke up still a bit unsteady and somewhat light-headed. So will take it easy today. Sending lots of blessings your way, from the angels and fairies and unicorns!

Will have to think a bit about my possible memoirs. I don't think my grandchildren need to hear it all! 9 degrees and rainy up here. Grey fog and mist, so I can't see the valley. I still don't know if my old colleague from Germany friend is bringing his wife on Wednesday. 'Someone' is dropping him off. Very mysterious. Anyhow, I'll have to leave by 2:30 to see my GP. I had a very nice quiet home day fell asleep on the couch for an hour. massage tomorrow soo looking forward to it but telling him to keep away from the pesky ribs but the neck and shoulders definitely need a good work out. Wednesday possible shopping day Thursday GP day Friday hairdresser and then lunch at my cousins looking forward to that;-)
