HELLO ALL!
KATHY lovely flowers but a little too pink for my liking ;-) yes KHUMO was having a special on their tyres in march and offering an 85000km guarantee with a free rotating and wheel balance every 6 months with a free replacement tyre if any potholes damage them within 12 months. great deal because they are not cheap.
PJ It has been a busy Saturday and tomorrow will be more of the same. It was 23 degrees today and the humidity was 65% by 930pm tonight it will be 73% so not happy and it felt like 30 degrees in the car with the air-conditioner on ;-( oh it has been a long long day after getting home i helped mum clean 27 artichokes finger have been stained black. well they were a good price drake foodland had them for $1.50 each we blanched them and now waiting for them to dry and then freeze them for further use in cooking.
Be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all. tell folks you love them whilst you can.
time to make dinner.

matina, hope your day goes OK. Lunch outing squeezed in as well? Very warm here and also a bit windy. Sure doesn't feel like winter anymore.

Katy, am sure you'll enjoy your family outing today! Probably nice, sunny weather down your way . . . maybe a bit on the warm side.

Quiet day up here . . .

Bye for now . . .

Sublime Point Lookout . . . near my house . . .

matina, hope you're resting up and recuperating this evening. Sounds like another challenging day. Warm here and I took it easy. Used my workbench to find just the right tools, plus an old can of WD-40 and managed to remove and fix the door handle and lock of my back door. Probably saved myself $200! Now waiting to talk to my niece in Maine. Fuzzies are both doing well.

Good night, everyone . . .

matina, walked across the street from my house yesterday afternoon. Very short walk. Didn't get my CPAP mask right last night, so got a 'mask seal error' for the first time ever. Not my best sleep. I think I've solved the problem now. Hope your day goes OK.

Katy, nice kitty . . . but I'm with you . . . I don't need my garden trimmed to perfection. Maine family got through the hurricane OK. It was a fizzle, in fact. Just some wind gusts and rain and they didn't lose electricity. My 'quick and dirty' locksmith job yesterday probably saved that much. Door latch seems to work reasonably well now. I was worried about getting locked out of my house! Hot? Up to 28 here and that's hot enough. Another couple of days, I hear. So glad to hear about your family time yesterday. Stay close to your AC today . . .

Bye for now . . .

matina, sorry to hear about today's stress. Hope you've had a quiet evening and can get some sleep tonight. I drove over to Katoomba this afternoon and picked up some more Feliway for Rishi. They were having a big sale at Petbarn. Has cooled off now, but I hear there are two more relatively hot days coming for the Blue Mountains. Had to turn on my AC this afternoon.

Hello

Morning Pj it always amazes me what a beautiful area your Maine family live in picturesque just like the mountains :D 36c again today :( i heard that they are considering back burning in our area Camden but will wait till this heat goes :? Lucky the farmland out back have sheep to keep the grass down no smoke coming from that method  all the best to you and the girls :D matina goodluck sorting out his crap once again :? I pray you'll get some peace soon :( not much happening while its so hot ac on 28c already only 11am :( god bless everyone hugs all :D

matina, hope you can enjoy a halfway restful day today . . . let us know. I was out in the backyard with Sunnya again, staying in the shade. Nice breeze. Sunnya is still out there, patrolling checking up on bugs and frogs and birds. Rishi decided to sleep in. I have the sliding doors open in the upstairs living room now, but expect to have to turn on the AC soon. Another couple of days of heat, I guess.

Katy, yes, Maine (especially on the coast) is fabled as a beautiful spot to visit. The winters are a bit challenging but the summers are perfect . . . ocean, lakes, forest, rarely too hot. Bear, moose, deer everywhere . . . Amazing autumn leaves after September. Cruise ships now arrive regularly these days, and deposit thousands of tourists right up through October. Then everything really quiets down. My nephew is still carrying on my brother's jobs, which include snow plowing in the winter. They usually get 3-4 metres of snow there. I hope you can avoid more smoke around Camden, at least for the time being. This kind of hot weather really isn't suitable for burning off. No doubt we'll have our turn to suffer with smoke up here . . . no announcements yet. Residents around here worry a lot about bushfires.

Will sign off for now . . .

Enjoying all my many flowers . . .

PJ oh I wish I could move into that vacant house in Maine what a gorgeous part of the world. Fell in love with that area when watching the TV series the Colorado kid. Long before I had the pleasure of meeting you and your family.
Well coffee is over with time to get moving.

matina, so sorry about your root canal. Am hoping to avoid another one myself. Glad you're making some progress in sorting out your father's affairs. Another photo above from the weekend cleanup at my brother's house. His beloved boat is going to be sold. It just takes too much work for his sons and they don't quite have their father's love of going out for cruises every weekend. Quiet evening here. Fuzzies are having another nap.

Good night, everyone!

Hi everyone

Those little white flowers look like snow drops very pretty :D matina it sounds like your making small progress on things for Satan :? you wouldn't think it could be this difficult to get help but as you say people just don't want to do their jobs :? Cherry blossoms on my nature strip . . .

matina, hope today is a good one. Errands? Going out? I might pop over to Leura and pick up a few things in advance of my delivery tomorrow night. Have run out of 'wild bird seed' again!

Katy, yes, makes me sad. My brother enjoyed his boat for years, even though it was a lot of work. His boys just don't have the same enthusiasm. But someone else will love it. CPAP gets a little bit easier every night. I have funny dreams somehow related to the mask. You know how dreams are . . . little stories that don't make sense. But the CPAP seems to be curing whatever it was that ailed me. Maybe my sleep guy will have some advice in another fortnight, when I see him. Hot weather! Cooling off tonight, so they say, and it can't come too soon for me. Cutting the mail delivery! Who would have ever thought? The world is a funny old place, forever changing . . .

Bye for now . . .

Still a few more leaves to rake up on my driveway . . .
