Today was the Full Worm Moon in Paris.

It's also called Crow Comes Back Moon, Eagle Moon, Goose Moon, Snow Crust Moon, Sore Eye Moon, Sugar Moon, Wind Strong Moon.
Traditionally thought to be named after the earthworms of warming spring soil. Alternatively, in the late 1700s, Jonathan Carver wrote that this Moon actually refers to a different sort of “worm”—larvae—which emerge from the bark of trees and other winter hideouts around this time.

What is it?

• A contest where you attempt to select this month's Full Moon.

How do you play?

• Post a number between 1 and 12 to select one of the 12 Full Moons. (see example below)

Rules:

• You can add a pic or a quote, but your chosen number must be written first in the post.
• Only 1 post per person. If you make multiple posts, all will be disallowed.
• Each edition of Full Moon in Paris will be open for a random length of time, with a minimum of 6 hours.
• The Moons will be randomly generated by two different members at the end of each round.
