How is it a "site function"? Looks to be just a sequence of letters in the name unless the software triggers on the sequence. I don't see why it could not be adjustd unless they say the system is hard coded to use it in the order it is put in the name. I'm not being argumentative. I'm a systems developer and don't see it as an issue unless they did hard code something in.

Yes it could be done , but why should we indulge in that much extra work & confusion for one contest?
I find Avo's solution more than acceptable.

3. Carry on from Z to A. Numbers come before A in the alphabet and don't count when it comes to skipping over starting letters. Any other symbols are ignored (e.g. puddyT@T is the same as puddyTT, a_b_c is the same as abc).

But I meant ignore the qualifying tags, GL in this case.
But I'm a Good Links fan, so G comes before F for me.

All in all, It could be confusing for new players. { Who post after (GL)fantap }
So, maybe add a rule, so that they see it, if you want to ignore GL.
