      In New Byzance people dream fragments of the story in New Harlem. In New York they see the future, or is the past? The idea is to read the first comic of each series, before reading any of the part 2's.
      All in all this is an interesting entanglement of stories, philosophy, history and cultures ...

    "Uchronie [s]", the new series of the creator of Stryges, unfolds in three very different for the future and offers a narrative of science fiction in the hectic pace. By opting for alternate versions of history, this scenario highlights the virtuoso of our time through and including religious fundamentalism and racism.

    "Uchronia" refers to a hypothetical or fictional time-period of our world, in contrast to altogether fictional lands or worlds. A concept similar to alternate history but different in the manner that uchronic times are not easily defined (mainly placed in some distant or unspecified point before current times), sometimes reminiscent of a constructed world. Some, however, do use uchronia to refer to an alternate history, like New Byzance. The word is a neologism from the word utopia (Greek u-topos not-land), replacing topos with chronos (time). It was coined by Charles Renouvier as the title of his 1876 novel Uchronie (L'Utopie dans l'histoire). A scanlation by the Dragonz Team headed by Darthscanner.

    These three seemingly unrelated stories occurring within the same framework - New York City - not at different times, but in different realities. In the first two stories, the course of history was changed so that the very structure of society it is completely disrupted. These three stories will gradually interpenetrate through the central character, Zack Kosinski. The reader is led to follow the three existences of Zack and discovers the same time that he was invented as a means to cross the borders of reality ...

      New Byzance
        Three sets of three volumes emanating outcome in a 10th album. The new saga of Corbeyran. Zack Kosinski is a prescient, able to see other realities beyond our own, able to live on other "Earth", perfectly similar to ours, but sometimes have evolved subtly different ... New Byzantium since the attacks of September 2001, capitalism has been sweeping the political landscape. Bin Laden is seen as a liberator. And his followers have installed Utopia fundamentalism, which governs more than 200 years since the organization of major Western and Asian nations. An organization rigorous and severe, where women occupy the most important moindrerôle and where the police are omnipresent. Locked in this world, but paradoxically ordered terribly quiet, Zack performs his duties as prescient in a strange way ... Project manager in the minds of those who are suspected of a crime in thought, dreams acting as a sort of shock, he reconfigures and mentally while protesting the Fundamentalist Utopia. Zack is an essential part of the system. Far day we launch a search warrant against him for an unknown reason. The prescient was then just throw themselves on paths underground. And for the first time in her life to brave the unknown ...

      New Harlem.
        Three parallel universes. Three sets of three volumes completed with a tenth album.

        Only able to see also prescient in the past, Zack became the icon of the opposition to the domination of blacks, who must reveal the truth. Having escaped an assassination attempt, Zack is recovering in hospital. His father is with him. With its revelations and visions he has for his recovery, Zack begins to understand its history, which began in another reality ...

        Bridges between the three worlds are becoming more evident: while some individuals exist in each of them, with the same strengths and weaknesses but different destinies, others seem to travel from one to another ... It includes in this third and final volume of this cycle of how the scenario is breathtaking skill Corbeyran: links emerging between parallel universes, and the truth is revealed about the family and the mysterious Kosinsky Tia.

      New York.
        Today. Zach is 20 years old. But does that really lived half, since just spent a decade immersed in a strange sleep caused by his father, who in this reality is a renowned scientist. Treated at a hospital where he is recovering from stress immobility of his body, the young man who has lost even the memory of his name, is constantly beset by doubt and questioning. His past haunts his present anxiety as to his future, he has fully recovered the hands of a young nurse, Tia Brown, who strives to make him regain a foothold in the real world. The problem is that Zach also doubts his own reality ...
